You can use items during the beginning of your turn by selecting which item you want to use. You can only use an item on♛ce, so plan your it☂em use strategically.
Every Item In Mario Party Superstars
There are lots of items in Mario Party Superstars, and they each feature a unique ability that you can use to push yourself ahead of the competition. Here's a list of each one and what it does:
Item |
Ability |
Warp Block |
The Warp Block allows you a chance to switch places on the board with a random player. This effect is particularly useful if you're standing on an unfavorable spot on the map or if another player is near an active star. You could potentially warp to any player's spot when you use the Warp Block, so be careful not to use it if any of your opponents are in a bad spot. |
Super Warp Block |
The Super Warp Block is a much more powerful item than the regular Warp Block. You can use the Super Warp Block to switch places with any player 🌠you choose, which is incredibly useful if an opponent is near a star. |
Boo Bell |
The Boo Bell allows yo♎u to summon Boo to steal coins or stars from one of your opponents. You can steal coins from a player of your choice for free; however, you have to pay 50 coins to steal a star fr🍬om an opponent. |
Mushroom |
Similar to the Mushroom item from Super Mario Bros., tဣhe Mushroom in Mario Party Superstars grants you a boost to your next turn, adding five extra spaces to whatever you𒁃 roll with the dice. You can use this item whenever you want; however, the best use of it is when you are near a star or another important space. |
Golden Pipe |
Golden Pipes allow you to instantly teleport to an active star, which gives you the chance to buy the star for 20 coins. If you have the chance to earn or buy a Golden Pipe, then it's a good idea to hold onto it until you have enough coins to buy a star. |
Hidden Block Card |
A Hidden Block Card is a great item to have if you need coins or stars. This item will spawn a Hidden Block t๊hat you can use to earn either a set of coins or a star. |
Plunder Chest |
The Plunder Chest is a fun item to use; however, it's not as fun for your opponents. You can use a Plunder Chest to steal an item from one of your opponents. Although this item is great for situations where your opponent has a Golden Pipe or other rare item, it's also useful when your opponent may need one of their items during the next turn, such as if they need Triple Dice to potentially reach a star. |
Dueling Glove |
If you use a Dueling Glove, then you can duel a🦂ny opponent on the board. You can choose who to duel and how many coins you want to wager; however, coins are the only possible reward for duels. After choosing your opponent and coin count, you will teleport into a random minigame. |
Skeleton Key |
Skeleton Keys allow you to open up gates with꧋in the board, which unlocks the ability to travel through that area. Usually, there are spaces worth visi💜ting behind the gate, such as Boo Spaces. |
Double Star Card |
If you have the Double Star Card, then you can receive two stars instead of one when you purchase a new star. The Double Star Card is very powerful, and it's an item that can solidify your victory if you obtain it. |
Item Bag |
Item bags are great if you don't have any items. Using an Item Bag will grant you three random items, which the game will then deposit into your item inventory. Although the Item Bag uses random chance to determine the item, it's still useful when you don't have any items at all. |
Chomp Call |
Chomp Calls are one of the most strategic items in Mario Party Superstars. You can use a Chomp Call to change an active star's location, which allows you to move the star before an opponent can get to it. You can also use a Chomp Call to try to move a star closer toward you, although you never know where the star will land on the map. |
Cursed Dice |
You can use the Cursed Dice in multiple ways. You can either use Cursed Dice by applying it yourself for your next turn or pass the effect onto one of the players in the match. The Cursed Dice only allows you to roll a one, two, or three, so it's useful if you want to stay close to your current spot or if you don't want an enemy to roll a high number during their next turn. |
Double Dice |
T🎀he Double Dice have a simple mechanic. When you use this item, you can roll two dice on your turn, which means that you will likely get to move further on the board than you would with one die. |
Triple Dice |
The Triple Dice are a better version of the Double Dice. Wheℱn you use the Triple Dice item, you can roll three dice for a single turn. You should reserveಌ this type of dice for situations where you need to move very far across the board. |
Custom Dice Block |
The Custom Dice Block is one of the b🔴est items in Mario Party Superstars. With the Custom Dice Block, you get to choose exactly how many spaces you want to move ahead on the board. You can choose to move between one and ten spaces ahead when you use a Custom Dice Block. |
