Nin൩tendo has shared a new look at Mary Party Superstars showing that even more classic and beloved boards are returning as well as a brand new competitive mini-game mode.
When Superstars was first announced earlier this year, Peach's Birthday Cake and Space Land were the only two boards shown off, but thanks to the latest Direct, we now have confirmation of the last three remaining boards ready for players to duke it out on at launch - Horror Land, Yoshi's Tropical Island, and Woody Woods, bringing the total number of courses in Mario Party Superstars up to 5.
Some notable changes have been made to the boards compared to when players first encountered them on the N64. In Horror Land, for example, King Boo now appears on the board and will steal stars for you. On Yoshi's Tropical Island, Toadette takes the place of Toad with the star and Bowser has a chance of swapping out with her in the last second, making the map more difficult.
For those who want a break from the boards, two new competitive modes were also announced as part of a new minigame mode. Mt. M♎inigames is a new mode that includes a survival mode, tag match course, and cooperative multiplayer course. In the survival mode, the player will have to get through and "survive" seven unique courses. Players can compete with others online to aim for t𒁃he highest score, or choose to play through cooperatively with a friend.
If you prefer🐓 something a little more laid back and fun you can take on the mini-games with a partner instead of competing directly against them in Tag-Team co-operati𝄹ve mode. All of these modes support online play.
