A marketing spike predicted by Take-Two may give an indicator as to when GTA fans can♍ expect the next game in the f🎃ranchise to drop.
Even though 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Grand Theft Auto has been a popular franchise ever since the first game was released on PS1, no one could have foreseen the success of GTA V. Seven years on from its initial release, Rockstar's🐓 creation is still one of the mo𝐆st popular games on the market. It has sold more than 120 million copies and reported to have generated $6 billion in revenue.
Although more players than ever continue to play GTA V, many of them are also dying to hear news ab🤡out GTA VI — something, anything, but Rockstar refuses to bend. In the developers' defense, there might not even be anything to report at present. There have been rumors that the game is still only in early development right now.
A new report suggests that GTA VI's release is still at least three years away. An industry analyst from investment firm Stephens deduced that by studying a 10-K SEC filing from Take-Two, GTA's publisher. The filing shows the company is expecting a marketing spike at the end of the 2023/24 fiscal year which suggests GTA VI will be released at some point d🍰uring that 12-month period.
The filing predicts the next five years, and the $89.3 million during 2023/24 is significantly larger than the other four years. This is the same way Stephens predicted the release of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Red Dead Redemption 2. However, the prediction only lined up with RDR2's eventual release date after the project was delayed, so read into t🌺hat💛 what you will.
Go back even further and there is also no such spike to be seen in conjunction with the release of GTA V. However, as was mentioned at the start of this article, no one could have predicted the astronomical success of GTA V, so Take-Two wouldn't have spent as much money as it likely plans to spend on the release of GTA VI. It's promising when looked at from one direction, but not so much when approached from another — just like everything else linked to GTA VI thus far.
