Kang the Conqueror is making his way to Marvel Champions: The Card Game, with an all-new expansion titled The Once and Future Kang, a brand-new scenario pack for the popular 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:board game. Players wil🐲l have an opportu♏nity to take on one of the greatest Marvel villains soon, as the Scenario Pack will in October of this year.
Kang is an excellent villain to base a new campaign game around becau𓆏se there is simply a massive amo🍸unt of interesting potential available thanks to years of storytelling thanks to the time-traveling nature of the character.
For those who might not be familiar with Kang, the character is originally from the 31st-century who discovers time-traveling technology created years ago by Doctor Doom. This forms♓ the basis through which Kang travels to several points in time, long in the past to Egypt ꦫaround the time when Apocalypse originated, too far into the future. In the Marvel universe, this has resulted in heroes having to battle several versions of Kang, including Iron Lad, Rama-Tut, Immortus, and more.
It is exactly this potential for a broad range of villains that forms the basis of The Once and Future Kang Scenario Pack. Players will fa🔯ce off first🐻 against a straightforward Kang the Conqueror villain, with a twist in that his temporal powers will not immediately be revealed. Once defeated, Kang will use his powers and technology to separate heroes to different times, and there, any possible version of the villain will lie in wait.
The challenge then will be having players deal with whatever time they have been thrown into all by themseℱlves. Only by defeating Kang in their dist﷽inct times will they have the opportunity to rejoin their allies towards a final showdown against Kang the Conqueror.
This looks to be one of the more innovative Scenario Packs released to date for Marvel Champions: The Card Game. Not only that, but it is great to see that this type of design is bei🌜ng used, not onlyಌ because it is interesting, but because it would be ideally suited towards creating an Infinity War saga.
Either based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the comic series, the same principle of sending players into distinct times could be adapted to sending players into each of the Infinity Stones and defeating the guardians within, all towards eventually having the power to overthrown Thanos! This is pure speculation but given how The Once and Future Kang has been designed, there is reason to believe that such an expansion could easily be made in tꩵhe future!
