Marvel Rivals Players Are Still Finding Bots In Quick Play, And They're Getting Smarter

This was spotted by Reddit user Fun_Boot_7695, who got a video of this new bot behaviour in quick play. Here, we can see that characters likely controlled by bots can n♔ow move around in the lobby before the round starts, trying to appear more human by using attacks near a teammate, or putting down sprays.

However, even the way they do this comes across as robotic, as they alternate between attacking, putting down sprays, and just standing still. Like other suspected bots, they only have default skins and level one profiles. Oh, they might even be usin♌g the names of real players, too.

Some users also believe that the AI for bot players has been impr♏oved, and I have certainly felt this when I was shoved into a bot game after Season 3 dropped. It's still a fairly easy win, thanks to their predictable behaviour, but they might put up more of a fight - and actually try to claim the objective.

This seems like a pretty good indicator that NetEase has no intent🌊ion of getting rid of bots anytime soon. In fact, it still hasn't even acknowledged that it's put them in the game, so I'm afraid that we'll all just have to suffer the insult of being given a free win every couple of losses.

At the very least, this is only an issue in quick play. Bots in competitive would inflate everyone's 🌃rank (even more than the game already does, some would argue), so we are mercifully left to our losing streaks there🏅.
