♉ Why Are Spider-Man Fans Always Mad About His Suit?

Marvel Rivals is yet another opportunity 🌄for fans t💮o complain about a Spidey suit.

coming to the game, as well as revealing that Spider-Man is getting an exclusive Scarlet Spider suit on PlayStation. As great as the Scarlet Spider suit looks, it turns out that Spidey's regular suit has also been given a significant upgrade.

Spider-Man's Costume In Marvel Rivals Has Been Massively Improved

Over on Twitter, that was included in a press release for the game's most recent trailer. As you can see from the before and after shots, Spidey looks a lot different than he did when Rivals was revealed, with his suit✅ being significa﷽ntly less overdesigned.

Let's start off with the big one - the trainers. One of the biggest bug-bears that fans had with the Rivals design was that Spider-Man was wearing exaggerated running shoes, which clashed a bit with his usual all-in-one look. Now, though, the shoes have been given a makeover and look more like they blend in with the rest of Spidey's suit, web-lines and all.

The shoes were fun to laugh at, but I did actually think they were a unique element of Spidey's Rivals design.

The other noticeable change that's been made to Spider-Man is that the black spider emblem on the front has been made much more pronounced, . This was another major part of the design that fans hated, so it's nice to see it fixed already.

Beyond that, the rest of the tweaks are minimal (such as the space above his wrist no longer having a weird watch-like line and the fabric above his arms no longer randomly splitting off) but they all combine to make for a much better Spider-Man costume. It's still unique, but it's no longer so garish.
