Over the past few days, Marvel Rivals streamers and content creators have been given the chance to try out Ultron before release, and what a lot o♒f them are finding out is that his healing output is definitely on the lower side of the Strategist roster. Ultron's only healing ability is a drone that he can place on allies, though it does need line of sight to remain active. Outside of that, it's just his Ult.

He's obviously a more damage-focused Strategist like Mantis and Adam, but unlike those two, it looks like he doesn't pack much of a punch either. His primary fire has unlimited range and no drop-off, ꦬbut he's severely lacking in offensive tools too, with his Ultimate not hitting particularly hard either.

Marvel Rivals Fans Aren't Happy With Ultron, Already Calling For Buffs

His design is very cool, but he's also a bit underwhelming from a balance perspective. Unsurprisingly, a lot of Marvel Rivals players ha♒ve taken to social m🃏edia to complain about Ultron's potential lack of viability, , who disregards the arguments that he's meant to be played in a triple support setup, and that he will be "disappointing like many others unless he gets buffed."

In another post, calls Ultron a "flying sniper with some basic heals", and says that they're "disappointed with what we are getting". Ultron's ultimate has also been catching some strays, as while it's kind of lacking in both healing and damage, thinks the design is "bland" and hates that it's just a bigger hitbox with copy and paste drꦜones.

Of course, it's worth keeping in mind that just because a hero can look underwhelming, it doesn't mean they are. Once they're in the hands of player🅠s and experimentation is being done en masse, we might see a playstyle emerge that makes Ultron quite good. If he is in the bottom tier like many expect him to be, then it should be simple enough for NetEase to give him a fe🎉w buffs. I'd rather him be initially weak than have to deal with a broken Ultron for two weeks.
