Out of those two characters, you'd probably assume that the God of Thunder and second-most powerful Avenger would be the one causing some balance issues for players, but it's actually the other way around. Ever since he joined the game last week, Jeff the Land Shark has surprisingly been causing quite a divide in opinion, with many players calling him out as being "broken".

Marvel Rivals Players Call Jeff The Land Shark Out For Being "Broken"

, Marvel Rivals players have taken to the game's official subreddit to share their thoughts and feelings about Jeff, and they're a bit mixed. Despite being an unassuming hero with some strange Support-focused moves, Jeff's ability to eat players and spit them off the map after using his Ultimate has made him a tricky opponent.

, who can be seen rounding up a bunch of the enemy team (as well as one of their teammates) using Jeff's ultimate move, before spitting them off the side and wiping them all out. An impressive team kill, to be sure, but it's representative of how powerful Jeff can be.

If you're wondering how Thor has been received since he was added, . He's certainly not causing as many problems as Jeff.

It seems that players are divided on just how powerful Jeff's Ult is, though. , while other players in the replies think that being able to throw a whole team off the map with relative ease after hanging back and healing is "kinda ass".

Other players have argued that Jeff is already a bit of a tough target due to his small size and quick movement speed, making it easy to lose track of him until he ends up using the Ult to take out the whole team. To counter that, some players point out that Overwatch has many characters who do the same thing, but that it's not the most viable option overall.

While the Marvel Rivals community's stance on Jeff is divided, it's the first time that a character in the game has been called out specifically as being "broken" and OP. Venom is a close second, but it seems that most have made peace with how he works. Here's hoping Jeff gets a few balance changes in the future.
