Summary
- Marvel Rivals players are struggling to deal with Iron Man following the introduction of his Season 1.5 buffs.
- With the increase to the damage of his Unibeam, along with its already great duration, players are finding themselves getting melted by Iron Man a lot more frequently.
- A Hela, Punisher, or Spider-Man should put him in his place, but a lot of players are struggling to adapt.
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel Rivals has now entered Season 1.5, which means we're all getting used to the new buffs, nerfs, and heroes that will have undoubtedly shaken up the game's meta considerably. We already know that 168澳洲幸运5开🥀奖网:healer ults have been nerfed pཧretty dramatically, hopefully in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:an attempt t🦂o kneecap the triple sup꧋port meta, but a lot of plaꦍyers a🎶re now seeing how existing characters have been tweaked.
One such character that seems to be causing a lot more bother than usual is Iron Man. Before the balance upd🔯ate, Iron Man saw minimal use outside of his team-up with Hulk, so NetEase decided to give him a damage boost to try and coax more players into picking him. With Human Torch looking like a better Iron Man in almost every way, he needed something to stop his pick rate tanking.
Marvel Rivals Fans Hate Season 1.5's Iron Man Buffs
Unfortunately, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:just like with Moon Knight before him, NetEase appears to have gone too far in the opposite direction. One of Iron Man's biggest buffs this season was to his Unibeam, 💞which now does a whopping 190 damage per second when boosted, and 140 raw. To put that into perspective, his Gamma Unibeam with the Hulk team-up - which was considered busted enough to ban Hulk in almost every ranked match - did 220 damage.
With his buff, he's brought closer to his team-up damage output, and a lot of playeওrs seem to 🅘be really struggling with him now. by a user called Ilikehotdogs1 (same), who claims that they're now "insta banning Iron Man every match" due to the "obscene" damage from his Unibeam.
A lot of other players then chime in with their complaints, mostly aimed at the duration of the beam and how thick it is, me🐟aning it's difficult to miss. Essentially, an Iron Man can fly into your backline, delete everything in mere seconds with a single charge of the Unibeam, and then fly out again. Others are saying that NetEase should have just buffed his missiles and left his Unibeam ♌alone.
Of course, this could just be the adjustment phase, with many having underestimated Iron Man as a threat. You just need to pick a counter to deal wi💖th him, and you do have a lot of people in the replies suggesting hard counters like Hela, Punisher, and Spider-Man. We'll have to wait and see how players adapt, and if he's still kind of busted a few weeks from now, he may find himself in ban jail until Season 2.
