How To Counter Ultron
The main problem with Ultron is that he is a flying character who benefits from self-healing thanks to his AOE drone healing capacity when it’s controlled by an ally, and his high damage long range comes from his beam.
This means he can easily get some free kills on squishy characters, such as DPS or strategist, from off angles, but Ultron himself is a squishy character🐼, so you can easily get to him if you know 🥀what is supposed to be done.

How To Counter Ultron As A Vanguard
There isn’t really a hard counter for Ultron or any flying character in general when it comes to Vanguard, as we do not have any flying vanguards yet, which causes a problem.
However, your main concern here is to block Ultron’s vision and protect your squishy characters, so characters with a type of shield usually work well to counter at least the 🦄damage they deal or block their viꦗew.

The problem with other strategists is either that they don’t have quite the damage to do so, or their abilities don’t reach Ultron. For example, it will be really hard for Mantis to counter him since her sleep is not like Luna Snow’s snowball and her attacks are projectile, which can be tough to land on him.
Rocket doesn’t have great damage to do anything to him, and Invisible Woman’s primary attack range might not always reach him, although she can use her Force Physics ability to pull him down and then your teamm𒊎ates can deal with him quickly.
