Kevin Feige officially annou꧋nced Deadpool 3 is the only project now at Marvel Studios which will be rated R. Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe should expect other films in development to keep the usual PG-13 restrictions for wide audiences, with no more adult-oriented content on the way.
The MCU nowadays is a rather special thing, representing the most successful attempt to establish a long-playing franchise with iconic heroes and superstars playing them. Since 2008, Marvel Studios regularly has produced the finest blockbusters, bringing together not only such characters as Iron Man, Thor and Spider-Man, but fans all over the world as well. With the acquisition of Fox, Disney got even more characters at its disposal, cau♉sing some concerns among fans about the future of Deadpool and some other well-known comics figures with adult themes.
Well, now things are perfectly clear. The announcement comes from Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige himself this Wednesday. Feige said the MCU “told all the stories that we wanted to with the tonality and the rating we have now,” and there is no need for more R-rated projects or reboots. The Marvel boss emphasized, the work on Deadpoo😼l 3 with Ryan Reynolds has already started, and the studio simply “doesn't want to mess its already established certain genre and a certain rating.”
It definitely sounds like Marvel fans shouldn't expect R-rated Blade or Punisher or Wolverine in the near future. While the Blade reboot is already being announced with Mahershala Ali instead of Wesley Snipes, the new movie will try to avoid all that adult꧃-oriented violence, something the original films have plenty of. It may be not very promising news for some fans, but it is something most should expect from Disney and the company's approach to its projects.
Regarding the nearest projects, Marvel Studios today has confirmed Tom Hiddleston's 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Loki show is coming June 11. Before that, Falcon and Winter Soldier will hit Disney+ on March 19. And there is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the ending of WandaVision slated for March 5. Also Black Widow, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Eternals and Sp꧙ider-Man: No Way Home are all waiting to be thrown at cinemas s𝔉oon. It is a rather intense year for Marvel to keep up all that too calm 2020, with no new movies released since Spider-Man: Far From Home in 2019.
