James Howlett, aka Logan, aka Wolverine, is being brought to life by the developers over at Insomniac Games. This is the same studio that brought 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel's Spider-Man and Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales to the Playstation. So far, fans have seen a brief teaser trailer showing the title character in a bar.
Lots of easter eggs can be gleaned from the trailer, which allows eagle-eyed viewers to speculate details from the game. Unfortunately, that’s all fans can do at the moment: speculate. However, there are some featur🐠es that fans would likeꦗ to see from this game to make it the definitive Wolverine video game.
10 Different Playstyles Giv♔e A Game Replay Value
A feature that gives video games replayability is being able to choose how you accomplish your objectives. Skyrim, for example, allows you to play as a hulking brute th༺at can tank a lot of damage🉐 or a stealth archer that one-shot kills enemies.
It would be nice to go on a mission in an enemy's lair with the option to complete the entire mission rather sneakily or cause as much chaos as you want. The option should be left up to the player and there should be achievements for different playstyles.
9 🌱 🎃 Cameos Enrich A Character
Insomniac's Wolverine will be set in a shared universe along with their Spider-Man series. So, it's only natural for fans to want to see some of the already-established characters show up. Wolverine fans are going to want more than that, though. He has a rich history not just in publication, but also in the Marvel Universe lore.
Having a rapid healing factor has allowed Logan to live for a long time and meet many characters. Sabertooth and Deadpool are obvious choices. How𒁃ever, his son Daken or clone X-23 - or even Omega Red - would be welcoꦰmed additions for fans.
8 🔯 🐬 Easter Eggs Because Fan Service Is Nice
The trailer for Wolverine already drops some easter eggs for eagle-eyed fans. There's a poster for Radio Lowtown 104.8, which could be a hint that this game will take place in the same universe as the Playstation Spider-Man games since those are set on Earth-1048.
Little easter eggs like that make a game more immersive for fans. It's nice to feel like there's a larger world beyond the sandbox you're playing in. Keeping an eye out for little easter eggs gives players a real-world objective.

An Open World Setting Would Be Ideal
Theꦫre are so many games that utilize an open world and video games based on comic books are no stranger to such a setting. Insomniac's Spider-Man series is set in New York City, utilizing Manhattan and the boroughs as Peter's playground. An open world for Wolverine would be ideal for fans. Not to mention, it hasn't been done for him yet.
The trailer heavily suggests that Madripoor will be the setting for Wolverine's game, which is a region not explored in any prior Marvel titles. New fans were briefly introduced to it in Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney Plus.
6 Primal Mode To Highlight Logan's Savagery
Ryan Schneider, head of franchise strategy with Insomniac Games, said, "...our goal here is to not only respect the DNA of what makes the character so popular," and part of Wolverine's DNA is going a little berserk when he loses control. Maybe there will be a meter on the HUD that fills as certain criteria are met.
Damage dealt during this primal mode should be increased to easily dispatch enemies. Also, this mode would exhibit why Logan's lethality is worthy of such a codename as Wolverine.
5 Combo Finishꦛers Like The Heroes Before Him
Wolverine🍸 is a fighter. He might not be a master martial artist with graceful maneuvers like Danny Rand or Shang-Chi, but he is a brutal fighter. Giving players the ability to string along a series of attacks to culm𝄹inate in a finishing move of some sort would give them another aspect of the game to master.
Finishers wouldn't have to be mandatory to defeat enemies, but it could make certain enemies easier to defeat along with other bonuses.
4 ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚ 💧 No Health Bar Would Be Unique
Wolverine is essentially immortal with claws and bones coated in an indestructible me💃tal and a healing factor. Why would he have a health bar at all?
Obviously, there needs to be consequences or challenges throughout the game. Maybe Insomniac will introduce some kind of poison inhibiting Wolverine's healing factor, which would give credence to a health bar. However, it would add more of a challenge if Wolverine was slowed down as he takes more damage or faces enemies with magnetic or pulse weapons of some sort.
3 Different Co꧋stumes For Players To Choose
This is a given. Video game fans love costume changes and Wolverine has had a relatively high number of costumes throughout his tenure. There's his classic ketchup and mustard costume, his '90s yellow and blue costume, all the way to his outfit as one of Apocalypse's horsemen.
Logan has been on many teams in the Marvel Universe. Fans want to run around Madripoor dressed as their favorite Wolverine. Insomniac's Spider-Man allows you to unlock and wear different Spider-Man costumes he's worn throughout different mediums. There's no reason to think Wolverine would be any different.
2 ꦉ A Skill Tree To Fully Customize Wolverine
Speaking of his healing factor, that isn't 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Logan's only power he has from his mutation. There is a list of others and it would be a loss if players didn't get to utilize them.
The best way to shine a light on his variety of abilities would be a skill tree that allows you to make him the best at what he does. Maybe his claw attacks don't cause villains to suffer from bleed damage until you level them up. Perhaps Logan's hearing is good, but as you level up his senses, you'll be able to track enemies through the sound of their heartbeat or scent. It would be a nice touch if you could build Wolverine into the character you want him to be.
1 Enemies Shouldn't Be Sponges
Everyone wants a challenge, there's no doubt about that. Enemies should be increasingly difficult as you progress through a game. However, harder enemies shouldn't simply require more hits to be eliminated. A certain technique should be required to defeat them. Otherwise, a game becomes stale because you're just fighting the same enemy masquerading as somebody different. A new enemy shouldn't only be encountered during a boss fight.
