8 Space Llama (AKA ꦕKammyꦓ)
The Space Llama - or as they’re officially known, Kammy - really needs no introduction. They appear at the beginning of Guardians of the Galaxy in the jaw-droppingly beautiful Quarantine Zone and end up as a stowaway on the Milano. While they have no real dialogue, through t🌄heir grunts and whinnies they nevertheless convey an exceptional 🍒amount of adorableness.
Surprisingly, Kammy ends up being an integral part of a questline further into Guardians of the Galaxy’s plot. Should you choose to hide them when Ko-Rel comes a-knocking then their mischievous chewing will end up benefiting you in a huge way. Their disdain of Adam Warlock also becomes a rather humorous aspect of the team's banter and is what eventually draws the Guardians closer to them.
7 Ko-Rel
Ko-Rel was a relatively unknown character in the Guardians of the Galaxy comic books, appearing in 2007 for only two issues before dying. However, in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Ko-Rel is arguably one of the most important side characters, being both, a fearless warrior who’ll stop at nothing to maintain peace, and a mother ☂who will do anything to protect her child.
Ko-Rel’s banter with Quill, alongside her stubborn parenting, make her♍ an incredibly nuanced character beyond simply being another Nova grunt. During the brief moments she’s on screen she gives a genuinely impassioned performance that is likely to move any player to tears. While her untimely death is a shame - as she would have been a great recurring character - she is nevertheless a phenomenal side character.
6 Lady Hellbender 💮
It’s hard to play Guardians of the Galaxy and not fall immediately in love with the vivaciously kickass warrior queen, Lady Hellbender. Ruling over a dominion comprised almost entirely of enormous monsters - and ♏later even the legendary Fin Fang Foon, Lady Hellbender makes ༺quite the impression when she first appears.
Her humorous and flirtatious exchanges with Drax make for some equa🌳l parts cringeworthy and rather sweet moments, and her simultaneously unbridled hatred and respect for the Guardians makes her rage an incredibly compelling sight to behold. She’s a fantastic character whose frequent appearances and mentions make the game all the more fun.
5 ꦕ Blood Brothers (AKA Garek & Rosson) ♋
The Blood Brothers, also known as Garek and Rosson, appear - like many of Lady Hellbender’s goons - very briefly in Guardians of the Galaxy. You have to take them on with only a handful of the Guardians in Knowhere before the hilariously cute Cosmo appears to save the day. However, despite only being in the game for a short period of time, their bumbling antics and funny use of the English language makes for an entertaining watch.
It is also just great to see more 16꧂8澳洲幸运5开奖网:underutilised char𒈔acters from the comics make meaningful cameos in the games. While in the comics they do get up to no good mischief, they don’t appear all that often. This is, of course, a genuine♌ shame as they’re prime material for goofy hijinks. It is also worth noting that their power of being armoured and stronger the closer together they are is pretty awesome and frankly a little🃏 sweet.
4 Cosmo
It would be difficult to talk about the best side characters in Guardians of the Galaxy without mention♒ing the a🍰dorable Cosmo. He runs security in Knowhere and, after saving your life with his mind-bending powers, becomes your only way through the Continuum Cortex. What makes Cosmo such a great side character - beyond his punny dog humour and litter of puppies - is his contribution to the greater story at hand.
Should you make the right choices, Cosmo can become a fundamentally helpful ally in your war against the🙈 Church of Universal Truth and the Matriarch. He also has some incredibly tough and heartfelt moments that are﷽ likely to make you swell with tears.
3 C🐻aptain Glory
Reading Captain Glory’s wiki page is perhaps the epitome of a fever dream. His inclusion in the comics is not particularly vast nor necessarily important, but he clearly left enough of an impression to be included in the Guardians of the Galaxy game. It's fortunate too, as his brief and aggressive appearance offers one of the most engagingly fun space sections and a momentary yet hilarious rivalry.
While he is initially rather nonchalantly introduced in the prisoner files on The Rock, Captain Glory then appears - on the behest of Lady Hellbender - to wipe you from the face of the galaxy. Fortunately, Quill is a half-decent pilot and quickly dispatches Glory and his goons. While his fifteen minutes of fame don’t quite add up to his contributions to the comics, it is nevertheless rathe🐟r funny and a gloriously delightful reference for fans.
2 Mantis
It would be surprising if Mantis didn’t make some kind of appearance in the Guardians of the Galaxy game. Having risen to popularity in the MCU version of the Guardians, it made perfect sense for Mantis to be included in some respect in the game. Fortunately, she appears as the bumbling yet kickass psychic who can control minds and see the many branching futures that await our ragtag group of heroes.
What makes Mantis such a great side character is her phenomenal writing. Her absent-mindedness often leads to her discussing possible perilous futures - mainly about Rocket drowning - which makes the rest of the characters understandably uneasy. The many futures she sees almost always lead to the group’s untimely deaths and scarily seem incredibly plausible knowing the recklessness of certain members. Fortunately, they never come true, but they’re still a thrill to listen to and it's always great to see others get a rise out of Rocket.
1 Adam Wa🌃rlock
Adam Warlock’s alliteration arguably and unequivocally understandably angers and agitates the quibblingly quarrelsome quintet of heroically horrendous heroes. How the writers of Guardians of the Galaxy managed to come up with so many of Warlock’s pretentiously pompous dialogue is simply mesmerizingly magnificent and one of the many surprisingly nonse💫nsical aspects of the game. While his humorous dialogue is certainly one of his most memorable traits, Warlock’s inclusion as a side character in Guardians of the Galaxy is fa꧅r more nuanced.
Not only does he assist the Guardians in a compelling - albeit slightly elusive - manner, but he then also turns into a raging homicidal god-like figure hellben☂t on destroying the universe. It is fortunate then that his ego is too big for his own good and Quill’s light ribbing seems to defeat him. Regardless of how Warlock approaches the Guardians his presence is always appreciated and one can only hope his appearances continue into potential ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚsequels.
