's director, Bryan Intihar, has explained why the sequel is missing so many costumes from the first game and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Spider-Man: Miles Morales, noting that it wasn't as simple as just porting them from one to the other.

Although Spider-Man 2 has seen a ton of praise from critics and fans since its release last month, it's also seen its fair share of criticism. Players have expressed disappointment in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the final boss battle against Venom, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Miles Morales' awful new suit,168澳洲幸运5开奖网: and the lack of suit powers, but there's one part of the game that has drawn more ire than the rest - the selection of Spider suits and how many have been cut from previous games.

Spider-Man 2 might be missing some iconic Spidey suits, but it also added unargaubly the best Spider-Man costume ever - 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:The Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit. That's a good enough trade for me.

Before launch, most Spider-Man players assumed that every suit from the original game and Spider-Man: Miles Morales would simply get ported over to the sequel and give us the biggest roster of suits in any Spider-Man game, but that isn't what ended up happening. Although Spider-Man 2 does add to the suit collection with some awesome new costumes and colour options for nearly every suit, it also cut a ton of popular choices.

All of these changes and cuts have been met with a pretty mixed reception (with particular annoyance g🌼oing towards how many MCU suits there are) from fans assuming that every suit would make it in by default, but Spider-Man 2's director, Bryan Intihar,

While speaking to IGN in a spoilercast for Spider-Man 2, Intihar is asked about the cuts that have been made to the suit selection. Intihar responded by explaining that Insomniac can't just port over outfits from the past two games and that the suits sometimes need to be remastered to become "PS5-sized".

Intihar said, "It's not just free to, all of a sudden it's like, 'Oh, we created it, it just moves over'. Like they sometimes have to be remade. Even the ones that showed up in the remaster, they have to be basically "PS5-sized". I think we also just wanted to have a new offering of different suits. Here are our favourites, here are what we know the fans like. I knew from day one that every movie suit that they want is going to be in there. It's GOTTA be in there."

With Intihar's explanation in mind, it does now seem a little unreasonable to expect all of the suits from Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales to make a comeback, especially with how much new content Spider-Man 2 adds to the mix. It doesn't make losing all of the Spider-Armour suits any easier, but at least we now know why.
