One aspect of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect 2 that makes it such a great game is the mission quality. From b🍸eginning to end, there are very few duds. And while the loyalty missions get plenty of plaudits, the initial recruitment assignments deserve some praise too. Thes🧜e are the ones where you meet some of the most capable specialists in the galaxy and get them to join your cause.
They serve as a great introduction to the characters you'll be with for most of the game. Besides Jacob and Miranda, who are already Cerberus employees, each of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:your beloved companions🃏 has one of these missions. But out of all of them, ওwhich are the better ones?
10 Dossier: The Veteran (Zaeed Mas♐sani) And Dossier: The Master Thief (Kasumi Goto) ꦑ
The two recruitment assignments for the DLC characters aren't really missions at all. Instead, they're simple conversations. For Zaeed, you meet him on Omega while he's intimidating a Batarian. With Kasumi, you talk to her on the Citadel 🅠through an advertisement board.
Both quests are designed to introduce you to the characters and set up their real assignments. Those are ☂a lot more exciting, but they count as loyalty missions, not recruitment o🐭nes.
9 Dossier: The Professor (Mordin Solus) 💦
The game recommends that you recruit Mordin Solus before anyone else because he may be able to find an answer to the Colle🐲ctor swarms. Unfortunately, the mission itself is pretty mediocre.
You're tasked with finding the professor, and then you need to help him disperse a cure for the deadly plague that's infecting the district. Besides the introduction of who many consider 🍨toꦉ be the best companion in the series, not꧂hing else rea⭕lly happens. It's just all about shooting mercs in various combat situations.
8 𝔉 Dossier: The Warlord (Grunt) 🦂
In this mission, you travel to Korlus to find and recruit Warlord Okeer. It turns out he's been creating Kr♓ogan for the Blue Suns, yet most of them are failures. The only one coming along nicely is still in the tank, and he'll later be named Grunt.
The story of Okeer trying to make a perfect Krogan is an interesting one. However, the combat for the mission is pretty standard as you head through dull-looking areas fighting Blue Suns. There is a more engaging section where you fight a horde of Krogan, though. Plus, the ending boss battle is challenging enough to be entertaining꧙.
7 Dossier: The As👍sassin (Thane Krios)
The premise for Thane's assignment is unique as you're trying to track down the assassin while he's on a missi💧on. It creates an interesting scenario where you're fighting your way to a target that isn't yours.
To get there, you need to make your way up Dantius tower. It's a pretty nice-looking place to engage in firefights and the design of the combat areas is﷽ really strong. The last one, in particular, deserves some praise for its originality as the wind tries to blow you and your enemies off the building.
6 ♏ Reaper IFF (Legion)
Legion is not on any of th𓃲e dossiers that Cerberus lovingly prepared for you. Instead, you pick him up on the mission to retrieve the Reaper IFF. It's a captivating quest right from the start, as entering the derelict Reaper is very eery.
It gets even more compelling once Legion enters the fray as up till that point, the Geth had always been hostile. To see one helping you raises questions and makes you realize there's plenty of things still to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:learn about the machines. The fighting isn't bad either as it꧃ includes plenty of husks, which are always sa👍tisfying to kill.
5 Dossier: The Justicar (Samꦿara)
To get Samara to join your team, you first need to find the name of the ship that's carrying her target. It's not the most compelling narrative for a quest, yet you get to learn a lot about Justicars and their codes. Als🌸o, the gameplay portion of the mission is pretty good.
Most of the locations are filled with toxic canisters that ar𝄹e highly dangerous yet enhance your biotics. It's a real risk and reward situation for the Shepards who like to use space magic. And they're even involved in the entertaining boss battle at the end of the quest.
4 Samara: The Ardat-Yakshi (Morint𒆙h) 🀅
Technically, this is Samara's loyalty mission, but as you're able to recruit Morinth during it, it should count as a recruitment one too. In regards to both recruitment and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:loyalty quests, it's one of the best. This is𝓀 because it's so different from the usual adventure. Instead of running around ♛blasting mercs, you need to seduce Morinth to set up a trap.
It's a great use of the multi-choice dialog system because you can mess things up permanently by saying the wrong thing.ꦿ To recruit Morinth, you need to avoid that and choose 🌄her over her mother, Samara.
3 ☂ Dossier: The Convict (Jack)
Initially, Jack's recruitment mission sounds easy. All you need to do is go to the prison, p💛ick up the prisoner you've already paid for, and head home. It gets complicated, though, when you're betrayed by those in charge.
As a result, you must shoot through plenty of guards and find your future companion. She, of course, isn't patiently waiting in her cell; sh𒁃e's causing havoc. Those scenes of Jack in action are some of the highlights of the mission as she destroys everything in her path. If only she ha🌜d those same skills when she's a part of your squad.
2 ꦜ Dossier: Archangel (Garrus Vꦅakarian)
For Garrus's recruitment, you g🌸o undercover as a freelance mercenary. The goal is to get to the vigilante known as Archangel, who the Eclipse, Blood Pack, and Blue Suns are all wanting to take down. It's a nice way ꦦfor the game to give you more insight into the three groups.
Then when you get to your targeไt, you findꦗ out that it's Garrus. This leads to another enjoyable section where you have to defend your position from the incoming horde of mercs. It all concludes with a solid fight against a gunship.
1 Dossier: Tali (Tali'Zorah V𓄧as Neem🌃a)
You meet Tali very early into the game, but you don't get to recruit her until much later. That comes during this mission on Haestrom, which is a planet whose sun is agඣing at a surprisingly rapid rate. This isn't just a story point either, as it actually impacts the gameplay. If you step into the sunlight, your shields start to burn. This means that you have to be tactical and choose your cover wisely.
More strategy gets 🦋added to the mix later on when you fight a Geth Colossus, as you have to select what way to approach the beast. It all makes for a fantastic and unique mission that lives up to the character it's based around.
