168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect 2 arguably went against the grain and changed the format of the series by killing Shepard off in the opening minutes and having the Commander's allegiances change to the shady and morally ambiguous Cerberus. In doing so, however, players got to see a whole new side to the galaxy, much grittier and more lawless than the council space of the first Mass Effect.
On the station of Omega, Shepard meets with the crime lord Aria T'Loak, the pirate queen and ruler of the outlaws and criminals there. She is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:one of the most mysterious people in M෴ass Effect, with a checkered past and an uncertain future.
8 😼 She Worked As A Dancer On Omega
Before taking over as the ruler of the space station, Aria came as a visitor and took up work as an exotic dancer at the Afterlife club. Whether she was an outcast of society in need of work or a devious lawbreaker with an agenda is unclear, but her time as a dancer eventually lead to her overthrowing Omega's leadership and naming herself queen.
When she appears in Mass Effect 2, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:s♎he rules the station with an iron fist and her dancing days are long behind her.
7 She Usurped Patriarch ꧑
As Aria herself explains, it was Patriarch who once ruled Omega as a crime lord, but Aria saw fit to take over during her time working at Afterlife. Convincing his people to turn on him due to the 'perks' of siding with the Asari, she lead a coup of the station and took down the existing leadership before replacing them.
Keeping the Krogan alive as a trophy, she gave him the title of Patriarch which she states has no meaning for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the feminine Asari—they are a mono-gendered race and take the title of Matriarch when they become old and powerful, so this was meant as the 💎ultimate insult to the Krogan warl🦂ord.
6 ꦯNyreen Was Her Girlfriend
Touched upon and implied during the Omega DLC for Mass Effect 3, this fact has been confirmed by the comics exploring more of the Mass Effe𒈔ct universe. During Omega, Nyreen appears as the leader of the rebellious Talons and her relationship with Aria has clearly ✃seen better days.
When Nyreen sacrifices herself to destroy a group of Adjutants, Aria goes berserk and runs off on a killing spree. Though they presumably hadn't been together for some time, it is easy to see they were once close even without the confirmation from the comics.
5 🦩 She Met Tiran Kandros
Those who played 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect: Andromeda will recognize Tiran as the head of Nexus Security, but he also shares his surname with Nyreen. Sure enough, upon speaking with him he will confirm that they are cousins and their family resented Nyreen for running off and 'playing pirate' on Omega.
In Mass Effect: Discovery, the comic series, Tiran comes across Aria and Nyreen on Omega, where Aria orders Nyreen to kill him. His cousin refuses, much to Aria's chagrin, and Tiran continues his adventures, eventually leaving the galaxy altogether and appearing in Andromeda to help Ryder take on🔯 the K👍ett.
4 ꦜ She Has A Daughter 💦
During Mass Effect: Retribution, Mass Effect fans were introduced to Liselle, an Asari who is confirmed to actually be Aria's daughter.
Though the canonicity of the comics and novels is up for debate, Retribution takes some interesting narrative 💙twists and turns, and the existence of a daughter for Aria c🃏ertainly adds a bit more flavor to the character.
3 ꧑ Kai Leng Killed Liselle
During Retribution, a struggle between Leng and Grayson, one of the novel's central characters, ensues. Unfortunately, Liselle ends up in the mix as well as she is Grayson's lover, and she ends up knocked out during the conflict.
L💃eng viciously slits her throat and kills her before Grayson is captured by Cerberus and experimented on with Reaper technology. Yikes.
2 She Worked With Cerberus 🃏
It might be hard to believe that Aria cooperated with Cerberus given how much she clearly despises them in Mass Effect 3, but during the events of Retribution, she actually agreed to work with them. Having hired Grayson as a mercenary to use in her battle with the Talons, she suspects he is to blame for Liselle's death.
The Illusive Man takes advantage of this and uses it to convince Aria to work with him. She continues to work with them despite learning the true circumstances of Liselle's death in the follow-up novel, Deception, but the alliance soon breaks down during the comic series when Cerberus release Adjutants onto Omega in a bid to take over.
1 ﷺ She Spent A Night With Mordin
Aria mentions Mordin during Mass Effect 2 when Shepard is trying to track him down and recruit him. She is somewhat fond of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:infamous Salarian doctor and voices as much, but it seems she actually had♓ interacted with him in more ways than pr🔜eviously thought.
During some video logs left behind by Mordin during the Citadel DLC for Mass Effect 3, the Salarian explains how he was hired by Aria to deal with an enemy of hers. This led to an explosive sexual encounter, followed by an attempt on Mordin's life by the Asari crime lord.
