Mass Effect Legendary Edition is on sale for its officially lowest price yet, at $33. The promotion will only last 24 hours, and marks the fourteenth N7 Day since the original game's launch back in 2007.
This promotion is available across Steam, Origin and the Microsoft Store (sorry PlayStation fans), so it only applies to digital copies of the game. But of course, it isn't every day that a game less than a year old gets a 34% price reduction, especially when it's a bundle of three remasters.
This is the first N7 Day since 2017 in which BioWare has actually had a game to promote. In previous years the most recent release would have been Mass Effect Andromeda, which failed to ignite the fanbase in the same way the original trilogy did. Repackaging these much-loved titles alongside their DLC, therefore, won back a whole lot of goodwill amoওngst players.
As well as making most of the additional content available in one place, Legendary Edition also features multiple fan-requested changes across the trilogy. Been avoiding the first game because of the 🌠Mako? The controls have mercifully been changed, and it moves a tad faster too. Need to play with about 50 graphics mods before you can enjoy the cutscenes? Visuals have seen upgrades across the board, breathing new life into these Xbox 360 and PS3 era titles.
This isn't the only way BioWare is marking this year's N7 Day. As ever, , offering prop medals, apparel, and more. The developer is also partnering with other outlets for some real unique offerings this year, such as themed PC gear, custom N7 controllers, and even a detailed model of the Citadel. The latter of which will set you back an eye-watering $200, but it does look a whole lot like the real deal.
