The 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect series is filled from head-to-toe with many different characters that have stuck with gamers forever. Bioware provided players with characters that really helped to bring the out best in the RPG series by making them feel like real-life people. With 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the remaster coming soon, gamers will be able to either revisit the trilogy or meet these characters for the first time. One of the more popular characters in the series is the 💃asari doctor, Liara T'Soni.
Liara has a major presence of some kind throughout each game ꦑof the original trilogy that helped fans fall in love with her. But there are some things about her that even the biggest Mass Effect fans may not know.
10 Her Appearance Is Modeled After Someone 🍸
A select few fans may have not෴iced that Liara's face bears a certain resemblance to someone. This is because Liara's face and body is based off the likeness of actress Jillian Murray.
Murray herself has been featured in a number of movies and television shows since the early 2000s such as the CBS medical drama Code Black and in the 2012 movie Bad Ass.
9 She Is Voiced By A𒀰 Veteran Voice Actr⛦ess
Liara has been voiced by the same person throughout all of her appearances in the series, that being actress Ali Hillis. A few gamers might even be able to recognize 💛her voice in other games as well.
Hillis provides the voice of Lightning in Final Fantasy XIII, Palutena in Kid Icarus Uprising and Scout Harding in Dragon Age: Inquisition to name a few of her other notable roles.
8 🍎 She Could Be In Mass Effect 2's Intro
During Mass Effect 2's intense opening in which the Normandy is ripped to shreds, a squad mate from the first game will go to Shepard to figure out what to do. While this person is normally 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Ashley or Kaidan, depending on who was saved aౠt Virmire, there is a chance that this person could instead be Li💙ara.
If the player 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:chose to romance Liara in the first game orℱ they have the Genesis DLC installed in📖 the second, she will fill in for one of those two instead.
7 She Is🅰 A Prominent Character In The Comics
The Mass Effect comics, which are usually set before or between the games, helped to establish backstori𒅌es for some characters or, in Liara's case, showcase what they do between the games and gives us more insight into their personalities.
The Redemption comic series focuses on her struggle to recover Shepard's body (more on that later) which features major repercussions for the games. She also has an arc dedicated to her in the Homeworlds series in which she tries to find a way to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:stop the Reapers.
6 🧔 She Knew About Alec Ryder And The Andromeda Initiative
Alec Ryder is the father of Scott and Sara Ryder, the two possible main characters in Andromeda. Upon searching his quarters on the Hyperion, they can discover audio logs Liara sent to Alec discussing ruins of a new alien species such as the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:history of the Protheans as well as seeing a new galaxy.
Upon collecting all memory triggers, a final message from Liara can be accessed that was recorded during the events of Mass Effect 3. She talks about the Crucible and urges that should they fail to defeat the Reapers, that everyone in Andromeda remembers them in their hearts 🐽forever.
5 S🌼he Is A "Pure Blood" Asari
In the Mass Effect universe, a pure blood asari is someone who has both parents being an asari themselves as oppose🐎d to just one of them being an asari. Normally both genetic traits are taken during mating and are put into the new offspring, providing the offspring with the strengths of both parents.
They are looked down upon in asari society since they feel as ♔if this hinders their evolution and makes them weaker. An asar♋i offspring with a krogan father who inherits his strength for instance, would be looked at more positively than a pure blood like Liara.
4 𒁏 Absolutely Hates The Shadow Broker ꦑ
It would be fair to say that the mysterious Shadow Broker is basically Liara's mortal enemy. Not only does he try to sell Shepard, her friend's body to the🃏 Collectors but he also gets in her head when it comes to Fಞeron.
Feron was an agent for the broker but turned against when he found out about the Collector deal. He is captured while protecting Liara and she knows🍸 that he is being tortured by the Broker but yet she is powerless to do anything. It is one reason why she hates him.
3 𒐪 How Much She Changes Throughout The Trilogy 🍎
One of the series' strongest l♛inks is the character development of each person and Liara arguably has the most out of everyone.
Starting out as a bright but somewhat naïve woman in the first game, she is eventually turned into a hardened and cunning woman over the course of the trilogy. Few games could pull off a change like this and do it without compromising the character's likeability, but the developers managed to ♊pull it off.
2 Becඣomes The Shadow Broker No Matter What 😼
Regardless of whether the player had downloaded the168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Lair of t𝄹he Shadow Broker DLC for Mass Effect 2, Liara will be ab꧟le to get revenge on the Shadow Broker and become the new Broker, regardless of Shepard's involvement.
The biggest difference though is that unl🍌ike in the 𝔉DLC, Liara will be unable to save her friend Feron. Though she is able to get payback, it is ultimately a bittersweet victory for her.
1 She Is The Reason Shepard I♑s Abl💟e To Be Resurrected
Perhaps the biggest plot point not to happen off-screen i𝓰n the games, 💧Liara is the reason Shepard is able to be brought back to life.
During the previously mentioned Redemption comic series, she is told by 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:agents of the organization Cerberus, that they can resurrect Shepard provided his body is recovered from the Shadow Broker who is trying to sell it to the Collector's. Liara taking a gamble like this just to save a friend really goes to show her loyalty and is the main reason why so many p📖eople love her.
