168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect thrusts the player into a complex, dangerous galaxy where humanity is still taking its first steps onto the galactic stage, and there's still the threat of the mighty Reapers on the horizon. Commander Shepard will need friends and allies to take on their enemies, and one of the most stalwart allies is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网ཧ:Dr. Liara T'Soniꦺ, an Asari archeologist.
Shepard first crossed paths with Liara on the volcanic world of Therum, where she had been studying the ruins of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the ancient Prothean civilization. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Saren's geth troopers were muscling in, and Shepard had to save the day. Ever since then, Liara ha⛎s been a valuable ally, and she underwent ღsome changes since. But some things about her remain much the same, for better or worse.
10 CHANGED: Liara's C⛎ombat Experien♊ce
At first, Liara was no fighter. She had graduated the University of Serrice back home on Thessia, and she was dedicated to academic matters, not combat. Yes, she had undergone biotic 🦩training as a young student, but for an Asari, there's nothing special ab🥂out that. It was only basic training.
Now, aboard the Normandy, Liara has learned to fight with her mind and her guns, and she quickly donned light combat armor, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:picked up a pistol and took the fight to Saren's Gethꦡ by Shepard's side on many exotic worlds. She's a fighter now, and there's no going back.
9 SAME: Her High Opinion Of Her Mother 𝄹
Matriarch Benezia was ♏Saren's corrupted minion, and Liara's mother. Even before Shepard met Liara, Benezia and her daughter had become estranged, but Liara knew that her mother was a wise, beautiful, caring person who was a credit to her people.
Liara was aghast that Benezia had sided with Saren, and she knew that Benezia was better than that. In 2186, Liara thought back to her mother with great fondness, and recalled all the wonderful things Benezia had done for her. Asari moms don't get much ꧙better than Benezia.
8 💞 C𓃲HANGED: Her View On Protheans
Liara had always wanted to study the Protheans, to see what they were like and learn their secrets. She became an archeologist for that very reason, and her studies led her to conclude that the Protheans had been a wise, noble race who uplifted the 🎶aliens around them. Then Liara met an actual Prothean, Javik.
Javik shattered Liara's rose-tinted view on the extinct Protheans. She learned that they were a merciless and imperialistic people who gripped the entire galaxy in their empire until the Reapers arrived and toppled Prothean rule for good. Turns out theꦕ sages of old were actually total thugs.
7 SAME: Her Sharp Mind 🌊 ▨
It's true that Liara quickly learned to ♔ꦡshoot a gun and keep up with Shepard in a firefight, but ultimately, her big brain is her best asset, not her pistols. Liara was a gifted student, and she has a good work ethic, too. As a result, she can accomplish anything if she applies herself hard enough.
By 2185, Liara was not only a skilled archeologist, but also a notable information trader on Ilium, even tracking the movements of Thane and Samara with ease. She also had what it took to replace the Shadow Broker and use his resources for good, not for bloody power games. Not even the pr꧑odigious Miranda Lawson could compete with Liara.
6 🌃 CHANGED: Her Relationship To The Shadow Broker
At first, Liara and the Shadow Broker were on the same side, since they were interested in recovering Commander Shepard's body. They🍸 located and retrieved the frozen body, and soon after, the Shadow Broker switched gears. He wanted to sell the body to the Collectors, and Liara had other ideas. An ally was now 𒀰an enemy.
Liara couldn't let that happen, so she and Feron turned on the Broker and heroically swiped Shepard's body from the Broker and the Collectors at the last moment. That established the Shadow Broker as Liara's most dangerous enemy, and she defied him by sending Shepard's body to 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Cerberus organization.
5 SAME: Liara's B൩iotic🐎 Powers
All Asari are born with the talent for biotic powers, which sets them apart from other races like 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the Drell people or even 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:the militaristic Turians. Liara has formidable biotic talents, and she may have inherited this degree of biotic strength from her m🎶other (herself a powerful biotic).
In the first Mass꧑ Effect, Liara could use biotics in battle against Geth, Krogan warriors and more, and later still, she could use her powers against Cerberus' best troops and against the terrifying Reaper force♕s. She's been a powerhouse since the moment Shepard met her in those Prothean ruins on Therum.
4 CHANGED: Knowledge Of Alien Races ไ🌱
The Asari people have long since taken the reins of the galactic community, acting as diplomats, ambassadors and peacekeepers for all races. Despite that, Liara herself spent little time around non-Asarꦗi as she grew up, and she was a bit introverted even by Asari standards. She largely kept to herself.
All that changed when Liara was accepted ♔aboard the SSV Normandy in 2183, where she learned about humanity from the crew and also met a Turian (Garrus), a Krogan (Wrex), a Quarian (Tali), and more. Now Liara can truly appreciate the diversity of the galaxy, and she can interact with aliens far more comfortably.
3 SAME: Liara's Fascination Wi𝔉th Shepard ♑
Commander Shepard is no ordinary human, and that much was clear to Liara from the very momeౠnt she met this alien commander. Liara was grateful for Shepard's help, and soon learned just how heroic, charismatic, kind and strong this human can be. Liara is naturally curious, and she just had to know more.
Liara was awkward about this at first, but she soon developed a more mature relationship with the Commander and relied on him or her for leadership and protection early on. Even when Liara became more self-reliant la♏ter on, she couldn't stop thinking about that heroic human soldier who saved her from Saren's Geth.
2 CHANGED: Her Sense Of Humoꦬr
Liara had limited socia🔴l skills and a rather small circle of friends when she first met Commander Shepard, and she didn't react well to⛎ jokes or sarcasm. She would blunder her way through each conversation, and she wouldn't try to make jokes or show her wit at all. She more nervous than anything.
By 2185, Liara was still pretty straight-laced, but she was also a bit more comfortable making dryly amusing observations or comments on the odd things or events around her. She wasn't 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:whipping out one-lines like Joker, but then again, she learnedღ to understand and appreciate humor a lot more, as long as she was in the mood.
1 SAME:♕ Liara's Prudent Streak
Liara is an unusual Asari🎉 in some ways, and a fairly typical one in others. For example, the Asari are known for planning for the future, rather than reveling in the now, and Liara is like ✨that, too. She is willing to put in a lot of thankless work so she can enjoy the payoff years later, and that was her attitude while hunting down rare Prothean ruins. She wanted to get some answers, but she was patient. Dig now, study later.
Liara took over the role of Shadow Broker, and she wisely decided to use those resources to aid Shepard and benefit the galaxy in any way she could, which🤡 she did, when the Reapers finally came. And it was Liara's idea to make a time capsule, complete with Crucible blueprints, in the event the Reapers destroyed everything. If the Reapers do win, then Liara's time capsule will aid an unknown alien race far in the future, and they will finally complete the Crucible and destroy the Reapers.
