The Mako: almost definitely the most criticized aspect of the first 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect. This clunky vehicle put many off rev𝄹isiting the game, instead opting to start from Mass Effect 2, in which the Mako was mercifully absent.

Due to its infamy, fixing the Mako was one of the big selling points of Mass Effec🎃t Legendary Edition. With the firs⭕t game being made a lot more user friendly overall, it was a no-brainer to make the Mako actually fun to drive, rather than an absolute chore. Well, while the controls are definitely different, not everyone is convinced it's much of a fix - with some fans even feeling it might actually be worse than before.

Despite the v💙ehi𒉰cle feeling a lot lighter to control, Commander Shepard’s driving skills still leave a lot to be desired. On the Mass Effect subreddit, fans frequently complain that the Mako has very awkward collision, clearly not knowing what to do when interacting with a wall or a slope.

Another player managed to tear through the fabric of space itself on Virmire, when they crashed the Mako into some rocks. Despite BioWare’s best e🐟fforts, it appears as if a missed turn could result in a critical mission failure.

And some things never change. Over a decade later, Sh♊epard is still flipping the Mako onto its🎃 back, very much earning the snide remarks companions make about their driving skills later in the trilogy.

Elsewhere, a thread in r/masseffect made to the Mako - and some players actually want the old ones back. Interestingly, a developer had actually 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:said this would be possible. Just before release, environmental director Kevin Meek said, "For those people out there who do like pain, we've left the option to leave it back kind of closer to the original controls as well”. Despite this, th❀e feaꦑture to go back to the 2007 controls is only available on PC.

It isn’t all doom and gloom however. Changes that have been universally well received include the ability to repair the Mako while moving, rather than leaving yourself completely vulnerable to attacks like in the original. The booster also makes it easier to flee enemy attacks, if you find yourself driving head𝓀first into a geth ambush.

Mass Effect Legendary 🤪Edition released May 14, and is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
