Mass Effect does a great job of introducing mysteries that have tangible payoffs and surprising reveals. The Collectors are originally presented as these rare traders who exist independently and o🐼bserve from the shadows. They live on an absolutely enormous ship that hides in unreachable deep space through a specific and deadly Mass Relay.

The Geth are scary because they happen to display an ꧙eventuality humans in real-life might have to deal with. The Quarians created the inorganic race to be used as servants and a labor force. But, as is revealed throughout ME2 and 3, the synthetic✤ race developed sentience. Some Quarians feared this while others welcomed it, but the Geth rebelled against their creators once they felt their species was in danger.
Worrying about the Geth as a player seems odd at first, but they're a threat to many things Commander Shepard cares for and relies on. They also happen to form a splintered faction that worships the Reapers like gods. Cerberus is an organization that happens to be a hellhole of hate and supremacy -- most of the time. In many ways, they are modern-day, xenophobic and prejudiced people who belie✨ve that humans are the superior race of the Milky Way galaxy. 𒈔They back up their beliefs with a rather strong military force and the hoarding of any and all technology.
The Illusive Man, a seemingly wealthy and well-connected guy who smokes a lot, leads them. His sole objective (and thus Cereberus') is one of advancing human interests by any means necessary. Through parts of the franchise, they serve as a necessary evil used to vanquish the overall threat, but these moments fade as the organization becomes more aggressive and power-hungry. 5 ꦬ The Reapers - The Genoci🅺dal Force On A 50,000 Year Timer

Evil manifests best and comes across better in story-telling when it's a singular eﷺntity that players can focus on. However, there is something both horrifying and comforting in a big red Reaper laser being your last memory.
4 Saren Arterius - The Indoctrinated Spectre 𒅌
Saren may not have been the most powerful or capable threat, but he worked as a villain because of how 𝕴relatable he was to the player. He was a long-serving and decorated member of th🌜e Spectres. It's unclear how vile of a person he was before his indoctrination, but it's likely that he wasn't too pure considering how deep of a hold Sovereign had on his Turian psyche.
Saren may have been villainous scum, but he partly the reason why players grow so attached to a Turian who values honor, loyalty, and respect in Garrus Vakarian. His 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:🍸monologue at the end of the first game reveals good intentions behind his still undeniablyﷺ villainous ways.

From the moment players learn that he resurrects Commander Shepard in Mass Effect 2, it's clear his motives are tainted. Like most evil men, he is consumed by the idea of power yet believes that he is doing the right thing. He trie🔯s at every turn to manipulate Shepard into doing what's in the best interest of both Cerberus and him personally. Fans can read more about his origin story and what led to his xenophobic views in graphic novels.
1 🔯 Harbinger - The Original Reaper
Harbinger is the big bad of the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Mass Effect franchise and happens to be the leader of the Reapers (he enemies mentioned earlier on this list)𝔍.
