Earlier this year, developer Remedy revealed that Control 2 and Max Payn🧜e 1 + 2 Remake had entered the proof-of-ౠconcept stage. But🅷 as of today, the Max Payne remake has advanced to the "production readiness stage", meaning that it is readyꦆ to enter development.

This comes hot off the heels of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alan Wake 2's release, a game set in the same universe as Control. It's also chock full of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Max Payne easter eggs - creative director Sam Lake even plays a no nonsense detective who explores derelict subways. Sounds familiar, right? But let's put Alex Casey aside for now as Remedy is gearing up to put us back in the shoes of the iconic Max Payne.

We hav♎e an exceptionally well-organised team working on [the remake]. With these accomplishments, we are excited about the project and its future success.

As reported by , Remedy announced the update in a on its investors page. "🐓;Now that Alan Wake 2 has been launched, the sight is set on advancing our other g🦩ame projects. All these four projects will benefit from the additional talent transferring from Alan Wake 2 as it will enable the teams to take the necessary steps towards the next stages of development."

Max Payne 1 + 2 Re🌟make is one of the four games mentioned. The other tಞhree are Control 2, Condor (a co-op game that has also entered the production readiness stage), and Codename Vanguard, which we know very little about.

While Max Payne 1 + 2 Remake has left the proof of concept stage, Control 2 hasn't. "The plans for this sequel are ambitious, and we have seen good progress both in the designs and in the game build," Remedy said. "We will continue at this stage for the next few quarters. We focus on proving the identified key elements before moving to the next stage and scaling up the team."

The first♓ Control launched four years ago on August 27, 2019. It cu♐rrently sits at an impressive 82 on Metacritic.

Control 2 is clearly still a ways off, but we'll be back to that world soon enough with Condor. It's a multiplayer spin-off developed in collaboration with 505 Games who Remedy previously partnered with to publish the first Control game. Perhaps we'll be able to fling heavy objects at our friends this time.

In the meantime, we have Alan Wake 2 to enjoy. It has earned glowing reviews almost across the board, and our own Lead Features♐ E💖ditor Jade King gave it a full five stars, saying that "It's Remedy let loose".
