Both remakes will come as a single package and will laun🍃ch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X, although Remedy doesn't provide a release date and the project is apparently still in the "co🃏ncept development stage."
Thankfully, Remedy does reveal a fair bit of information in the press release published alongside the announcement. The game itself will be financed by Rockstar Games and will have the same budget as the rest of Remedy's high-profile games like Control, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Alan Wake, and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Quantum Break. 🔜The remakes will also be developed on the Northlight engine, the same one used for the aforementioned titles. Remedy also explains that it will recieve royalties once Rockstar makes back its devel✨opment costs.
Remedy Entertainment CEO💃 Tero Virtala also released a statement on the deal, explaining that the team is "h🌱ugely excited" to be working on max Payne once again.
"Max Payne has always held a special place in the hearts of everyone at Remedy, and we know the millions of fans worldwide feel the same," said Virtala. "We’re hugely excited to be working with our partners at Rockstar Games once again for ဣthe chance to bring the story, action and atmosphere of the original Max Payne games back to players in new ways."
While the announcements of these remakes is pretty exciting, they're likely years away from being released, especially since the games are in the "concept development stage" and seem to have been announced for next-gen systems only. Remedy is also likely working on other projects as well, one of which being Alan Wake 2 which was 1༒68澳洲幸运5开奖网:announced at The Game Awards last year. Still, it's nice to see that Remedy hasn't quite forgotten about Max and his Bullet Time abilities just yet and we'll hopefully be able ♉to r🎶eexperience these legendary stories again in the near future.
