Destiny 2 players are reporting that the Means to an End quest is bugged and preventing progression of the new Season of Arrivals questline. Here’s what we know.
As with every new168澳洲幸运5开奖网: Destiny 2 season, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Season of Arrivals has arrived with a brand new story-based quest for players to complete. It’s a good one, which provides the setup for the current season, the reason༒ why players are taking part in a public event on Io, and even provides some pretty great rewards for completing it.
However, there’s a problem. For some players, the Means to an End step of the quest is bugged and prevents them from progꦦressing further along. This is being repor💧ted for all players and on all platforms, so nobody is safe from this bug. Here’s what we know so far on how the bug appears and how you can work around it.
Means To An End Bug Explained
There are multiple forums describing problems with Means to an End. Some are reporting that the quest just can’t be obtained from the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Prismatic Recaster next to the Drifter. Some are reporting that it can be completed, but that it then disappears from their quest log꧂ and doesn’t progress to the next step, Interference.
This video shows another bug where the Means to an End quest can be completed up to the point where you speak to Drift and then claim your reward from the Prismatic Recaster, but instead of getting anything you jus🔴t get some dialog and then the quest stalls preventing any further progress.
What To Do If Means To And End Stops Working
Some Reddit users report the bug resolving itself if they log out and then log back in. Others𒆙 report the issue going away if they just wait on the tower for a few minutes and then interact with the Prܫismatic Recaster again.
If these solutions don’t work, you’re 🐼out of luck. Bungie hasn’t even acknowledged this bug yet even though it’s well documented on Reddit and the forums. Until they investigate and come up with a solution, we might just be stuck waiting for the next weekly reset to hopefully resolve the problem. Since the quest is thought to be part o꧑f a repeatable weekly reward, the next reset should provide players with another opportunity to complete the quest.
