All gamers have kind o𝐆f come accustomed to the fact that we live in the age of the remaster, the remake, the HD edition, the flashy all-DLC-included port. Along with battle royale modes and open worlds, that’s what gaming is all about just now.

PlayStation in particular has been on a roll on that front. With the Crash Bandicoot N. In this 1998 classic, players took ꦕthe role of skeletal knight 𓂃Sir. Daniel Fortesque, who was accidentally resurrected along with the zombie army the nefarious sorcerer Zarok has just revived himself. Fortesque’s heroic life was a lie, as he was slain while running away from Zarok’s army the first time around. Now back in action again, he sets out to earn the reputation that he never deserved in life.

MediEvil spawned a sequel in 2000, and many fans of the cult series have been clamoring for a new entry ever since. This remaster is better than nothi⛎ng, but when can we expect it?

According to , PlayStation Social Media Director Sid Shuman and SIE Worldwide Studios head Shawn Layden have a big MediEvil remaster announcement to share (via VG247). Quite what this will be isn’t yet known, but presumabl♑y gameplay and/or a release date will be on showꦯ. Maybe. If we’re all very good.

It’s all very mysterious at the moment. This is only compounded by the fact thathas already hinted at a ‘MediEvil Skeletal Collection’ containing both games.
