With all Mega Man games, there’s a beautiful sense of choice in being able to take on any level in any order. This is especially true of Mega Man 5, one of the greatest NES games in the series that is full of diverse levelജs and some of the last memorable foes of the early entries, as well as💞 some of the most interesting weapons of the franchise.
No matter which you start with, there’s still always an optimal order you should usually go in, with each boss having a corresponding weakness that you can follow to make each final enemy way easier. If y𓆉ou’re finding this classic game to be unexpectedly challenging, this is the easiest boss route you can take in your adventure.
8 Stone Man
Stone Man makes a great start since his stage is relatively simple, albeit quite long. You won’t have a great advantage by having 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:other weapons, and his attacks are fairly easy to avoid since he’s a more slow-moving ene﷽my than most Mega Man bosses.
💜Stone Man does grow quite invincible while preparing some of his attacks, so it’s good to usually hold up your charge attack so that you can hit him extremely hard with sporadic strikes. Beating him early can also be helpful thanks to him granting the boulder explosion attack to help you against random enemies, in addition to your next boss.
7 🍷 Charge M♌an
Charge Man is another solid starting point thanks to a relatively easy level, but the boss is extremely frustrating to encounter without Stone Man’s ability. He alternates quickly between fast and small movements, m𒆙aking him really hard to hit with your🍰 regular arm cannon without taking damage at the same time.
Stone Man’s ability deals four times as much damage as any other weapon to Charge Man, but more importantly, it sends boulders spiraling around the screen. This means you can focus on dodging raꦗth♐er than aiming your attack, making this fight much more of a walk in the park.
6 Wave Man
Wave Man’s level can be quite frustrating, but the boss himself is fairly easy with both Charge Man’s kick and your 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:classic run & gun-style arm cannon.🐲 Make sure to jump frequently since his water spout attack can catch you off guard, but it always comes up from the ground at a medium distance from him to help you avoid it easier💧.
Broadly speaking, you’ll also want Wave Man early, since his Water Wave ability can block pro꧟jectiles and be a huge aid against swarms of small enemies. It’s awkward to use since you can’t do it while floating in the air, but it deals solid damage alongside providing a unique defensive ability.
5 Star Man
Star Man is similar to Stone Man in terms of having an attack that puts projectiles around your body, but they aren’t as defensive as the rocks can be. As a result, you don’t particularly need the Star Crash early, but it also means he’s painful to get clo✨se to without the Water Wave to easily break through his stars.
What’s unique about this ability, though, is that you’re able to shoot it forward aft𝄹er first spinning stars around yourself. This can potentially be a massive projectile to hit opponents you l🌼ack a clean shot at, making it useful for those who struggle aiming weapons with smaller bullets.
4 ൩ Gravity Man 𒁏
Speaking of aim troubles, Gravity M🧔an is exhausting to fight without the Star Crash because of the gravity swap. You’re never on the same ground as him, and while the fight ౠis certainly fun, it can be extremely hard to hit him in the brief moments you two swap floors.
The sad irony of this weak boss is that 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:his new weapon is actually really helpful for those needing a weapon to help them in the levels themselves. It’ll entireᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚly clear the room of any foes on-screen, and while it won’t help against most bosses, you’ll probably find it really helpful in the harder levels after t⛎he robot masters.
3 Gyro Man
Gyro Man is surprisingly easy if you have a 🅠lot of coordination, 🐠as you can dodge under his attacks as well as jumping over his spinning blades. Most players will often find Gyro Man too fast to deal with, but that’s not to say he’s the hardest in the game for those who aren’t able to react to his quick actions.
With Gravity Man’s weaꦡpon, though, this boss almost feels like a joke for how easy it is. This weapon rarely hurts any bosses, but Gyro Man will lose almost all his health in seconds if you use all your ammo righ൲t away, making a potentially fun boss into an irritating use of your ammo.
2 Crystal Man ꧑
Fighting Crystal Man is similar to playing a 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:shoot em’ up game, in that there are tons of projectiles that you need to concentrate on ♋intensely to avoid damage. His firsꦕt attack will launch four balls that bounce on the floor and ceiling, and you’ll have to dodge these a few times in the fight while also not running into him as he jumps at you.
Crystal Man's weapon is also not particularly useful, which is why you’re better off leaving him to the later end of your boss route. Fighting him without a weapon that can hit him with anও easier aim is mu🦂ch more challenging than Gravity Man, whose difficulty is primarily built around tediousness.
1 𝓀 Napalm Man
Your potential last boss might not have the painful lava levels of 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:prior Mega Man games, but its ability to kill you in one hit from cliffs and waterfalls makes it the easiest to put off untiꦍl the very end. By now, your many weapons will give you a huge edge against unfair enemy layouts, letting you smoothly bounce over spikes and pits without any difficulty.
As for Napalm Man himself, just use your Crystal Eye and make sure to jump while 🌃dodging his arcing bombs. The explosions they create are way bigger than you’d expect, so having some air to help you avoid the aftershock will make it easy to get in a pattern of dodging and attacking.
