168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is what happens when PlatinumGames put their own spin on the ♛Metal Gear formula. This ludicrously high-octane hack-and-slash title takes place four years after the events of MGS 4 and puts Raidꦗen in center frame, who is now fully cybernetic and armed with a sword that can cut through anything.

In traditional Platinum style, the best parts of MGR are the boss fights, which are all as ridiculous as they are fun. Whether you're fighting another superpowered cyborg or a giant mech, they all manage to be very memorable, which is particularly impressive when you consider the popularity of other bosses within the Metal Gear series.

10 🅠 Blade Wolf (Raiden)

Blade Wolf fighting another AI unit

Blade Wolf is a lupine-based robot equipped with a chainsaw tail, who eventually becomes Raiden's ally after this fight. Blade Wolf isn't as challenging as some of the other fights in the game, but he's still very entertaining to fight.

However, what brings it down a notch is that he'll routinely stop the fight to make you deal with regular enemies, which is useful if you need some health but it also kills the pacing a bit.

9 Khamsin

Khamsin vs Blade Wolf

Khamsin is a fight unique to Blade Wolf's DLC. He ends up fighting Wolf after the latter tries to gain freedom during the coup in Abkhazia, and does so in a giant mech wielding a huge axe.

Controlling Wolf feels slightly different to Raiden but his ability for more air combos allows you to avoid Khamsin's sweeps. Khamsin also dies in a particularly brutal manner (even for MGR) as you chainsaw him right through the heart, then pull him out of the mech to eviscerate what's left.

8 ꦯ Metal Gear Excelsus

Metal Gear Excelsus vs Raiden

Metal Gear Excelsus is one of the larger Metal Gears in the franchise (168澳洲幸运5开奖网:still ou🦩tshone by Arsenal Gear and Sahelanthropus), and yet it's more of a warm-up to the final boss of the game.

Given Excelsus' size, this boss fight is a tad slower compared to the others from MGR but its attacks do a lot of damage. It also ends the way every giant mech fight should; with you ripping off one of the arms and using it to defeat the boss.

7 Metal Gear RAY (Jet♊stream Sam)

Jetsream Sam kills a police officer

During the Jetstream Sam DLC, you take control of said character as he makes his way to World Marshal's headquarters. When he arrives, he's immediately challenged with a fight against a Metal Gear RAY, and it's here that you realize just how strong Sam really is. His quick-draw technique can do a lot of damage to RAY, even on higher difficulties.

Unfortunately, this means that the fight is over rather quickly, and the environment of a hanger isn't quite as memorable as fighting a Metal Gear RAY in a city.

6 Sundowner

Raiden vs Sundowner

Sundowner is a character you'll immediately despise upon meeting him, especially with how much trouble he causes and how smug he acts. The main gimmick of his fight is his explosive shields, which you'll need to slice open precisely if you want to destroy them.

If you do this, he'll chain his Bloodshed sword together as a pincer, which is a slow but extremely powerful weapon that you can unlock afterwards. The only drawback to this fight is that it can sometimes feel a bit short, especially after so much build-up.

5 Mistral

Raiden vs Mistral

Mistral is a very agile fighter who serves as the first real test of your skills. Her weapon, the L'Etranger, acts as a polearm and a whip, and she can dash around the battlefield with surprising speed.

If you've not yet mastered how to deflect attacks in MGR, this boss is going to be a struggle. However, pushing through is worth it because you also get to hear the rest of her 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:incredible boss theme,ཧ and you💜 also unlock her weapon to use for yourself.

4 ও Metꩲal Gear RAY (Raiden)

Raiden vs Metal Gear RAY

Some games like to break you in gently. MGR, on the other hand, decides to make you fight a Metal Gear RAY as a tutorial level. This battle is full of amazing sequences, such as when you're running along a stream of RAY's missile before slicing off the arm that's firing them.

The best moment, however, is during the first phase when you catch RAY's blade arm and prepare to throw the giant mech, prompting the cry of &quo🐼t;RULES OF NATURE" as the vocals kick in.

3 Monsoon

Close-up of Monsoon

The fight against Monsoon is a great challenge. His body is constantly shifting so you've got to adapt to how he moves, and even Blade Mode won't work against him unless he's properly stunned. Beating him earns you his Dystopia Sai, which acts as a grappling hook to pull you towards enemies.

What makes the fight so memorable is the build-up. It's the moment when Raiden gives into his "Jack the Ripper" side and is no longer holding back, making you feel like you're controlling him at his full potential.

2 🥂 Senator Armstrong

Armstrong smoking a cigar

Whether you're fighting Armstrong as Jetstream Sam or Raiden, he's a formidable opponent. This nanomachine-filled governor is the strongest villain in the entire Metal Gear fran🌱chise, so you need toꦆ quickly l💟earn which attacks can be deflected or dodged.

The biggest obstacle, however, is when he throws debris at you because if you don't react quickly enough - it's a potential one-shot (even at lower difficulties). Given that Armstrong's the final boss of both Raiden and Sam's stories, it's fitting that he's the deadliest.

1 🎉 Jets♔tream Sam

Jetstream Sam vs Raiden on a train

Sam is the only character in the game who is able to best Raiden at the beginning of the game. As such, his proper boss fight is designed to be a true test of the skills you've learned over the course of the game.

Sam's deadliest attack is his quick-draw, which can easily rinse through your health if you don't deflect it properly. Even disarming him isn't safe, which makes it all the more ridiculous when it's revealed that he has almost zero cybernetic enhancements.
