Ever since we found out that a Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater remake is in the works, developer Konami has been very light on the details, with just a few short trailers of Naked Snake sneaking through the jungle. There was a bit of worry when it was rumored that the title had been 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:internally delayed to 2025, but Konami will be hoping that these worries have been put to the side with a more in-depth trail🌠er, showcasing a bunch of gameplay.
In the trailer, we get to see a mixture of new gameplay and cutscenes, with the iconic plane jump front and center. We all see a mixture of stealth gameplay and action sequences, as Snake sneaks through the jungle, sidles along bridges to avoid enemy patrols, and even wears a crocodile's head while swimming in the water to avoid detection from surrounding drones. We also get some glorious action shots too, as Snake guns down baddies with machine guns, rocket launchers, and every other weapon you can think of.

While action shots and sneaky gameplay are all well and good, the biggest reveal during the trailer was our first look at The Boss, Snake's former mentor and one of the game's primary antagonists. It all looks extremely faithful, and while we're yet to see if iconic bosses and moments such as the ladder scene will remain intact, the close recreation of the game suggest they will.
Unfortunately, we didn't get a release date for the title in this trailer, though its presence at this year's Xbox Showcase suggests it won't be a timed exclusive for PlayStation as was previously thought. Given that there won't be many more opportunities for Konami to reveal a release date in the coming months, we can safely assume Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be a 2025 release.
With that assumption, it seems as though 2025 is looking pretty stacked right now in terms of big releases.
