Atlus has finally given us a release date for its next big title, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metaphor: ReFantazio, which 💝168澳洲幸运5开奖网:wilꦓl release on October 11 later this year. Atlus revealed the release date during a special Metaphor: ReFantazio showcase, in which it revealed loads more info about the game's story and world, as well as a whole heap of new gameplay footage.
Atlus begins by detailing the story, as you'll be playing in a world that has been thrown into chaos as many parties fight it out for the throne after the assassination of the king. A "royal magic" is triggered after the assassination that allows anyone of any social status to become the next king, as long as they have the support. As the protagonist, it's your job to travel the world and gain support for your claim.
Atlus then moves onto the gameplay, giving us a look at the start of the game. 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Like we've seen from previous trailers, Metaphor: ReFantazio's combat incorporates real-time attacking and dodging, as well as the turn-based battle system that Atlus fans will be used to. We see the player exploring what appears to be an open zone, full of creatures that you can battle, though Atlus stresses the game isn't strictly open world.
Metaphor: ReFantazio Centers Around The Runners
We then get to see how we'll get to explore the game's world, and there's a lot of importance placed upon machines called Gauntlet Runners. With these machines, you'll be traveling from place to place across the game's world, with each new city you visit becoming a HUB for you to explore, accept missions, and gather equipment. In your Gauntlet Runner, you'll be able to take on quests, cook for yourself and your team, and even get up onto the top of the deck to watch yourself travel through the world.
Metaphor: ReFantazio also places a heavy amount of importance on time, as each main quest you have will have a set amount of time you need to complete it in, similar to the main objective time limits in Persona games. Side quests you take on will reduce the time for the main objective, but they will give you rare loot and have you fight strong enemies, so it'll be up to you to decide how you tackle things that come your way.
There was so much packed into the game's showcase that it's impossible to go through it all here, and Atlus also says that more announcements are planned for the future. If you want to brush up on absolutely everything Metaphor: ReFantazio has to offer, you can check out Atlus' showcase above. If you want to go in knowing as little as possible, October 11 is the date to jot down in your calendar.
