Escue is one of the tougher Bosses among the many difficult bosses in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metroid Dread. This late-game boss zooms✤ in out of nowhere, covered in electricity and hovering above Samus, looking like the result of some unhꦍoly union between a fly and a bug zapper. It might be one of the smallest of the bosses, but it packs a powerful punch.
This boss battle is charged (pun intended); Escue releases a fast-paced flurry of attacks that require quick reactions, lots of focus, and a little bit of strategy. The good news: at least it's not an E.M.M.I.
Where Is Escue?
Escue is located in Ferenia, in the far right corner of the map. You will need to navigate a few E.M.M.I. areas to reach Escue, and unf🌃ortunately, these ones are stalked by the deadly purple E.M.M.I. – the worst of all E.M.M.I.s.
To get past the purple E.M.M.I., h☂ere are a few tips:
- Be constantly moving as fast as possible through the E.M.M.I areas. This E.M.M.I. moves quickly.
- Use the Phantom Cloak ability when the E.M.M.I.’s yellow cone of sight starts to swing around Samus but do not stop moving. Unlike earlier game E.M.M.I.s, this E.M.M.I. will never wander far off on its own while Samus is invisible, so the only way through these sections is to run.
- The E.M.M.I. will generally lose track of Samus when she goes through a door, even if the next area is still in the E.M.M.I. zone. Use this to your advantage – if you are near a door without the E.M.M.I. around, take off the Phantom Cloak and use that time to recharge Samus’ Aeion.
Once you’re in the area where Escue is located, head to the bottom of the screen and you will see a Boss Door. Approach this hideous door, then Melee Counter its attack when you see the flash by pressing X and enter the Escue arena. (If you miss your chance to counter, you can🌱 always fire a few missiles when the Boss Door exposes itself after attacking Samus.)
What Suit Upgrades Should You Have?
At this point, 𝕴🀅Samus should have the following upgrades to her suit:
- Plasma Beam
- Diffusion Beam
- Grapple Beam
- Ice Missile
- Phantom Cloak
- Flash Shift
- Pulse Radar
- Morph Ball
- Bomb
- Spider Magnet
- Speed Booster
- Spin Boost
The most useful upgrades for this battle against Escue are the Flash Shift and the Ice Missiles so get comfortable with the A button and the R button respectively. The Spin Boost may also come in haಞndy,🥂 depending on your preferred strategy.
How To Beat Escue Phase 1:
Escue will appear flying in mid-air and covered by a protective layer of electricity. Don’t waste your ammo while it looks like this; wait for Escue to lose its protective layer of purple electricity before firing missiles at it.
Phase 1 Escue has three attacks:

Electricity Bomb |
Escue will fire a black sphere of electricity at Samus. If it hits the wall, it dissipates harmlessly, but if the black sphere hits the ground, it will explode a second later, covering the entire ground of the arena in electricity. If Samu🅺s is touching the ground 𓆉at that point she will take damage, so jump to avoid this delayed attack. |

Slam |
If Escue appears to pull back slightly, it is readying itself to slam into Samus. Dodge this attack with Flash Shift. After Escue slams into the ground (or Samus) it will always lose its electricity coating and be vulnerable to missiles for a short time. This is the best chance to get some damage in. |

Electricity Bullets |
Escue will🦄♛ fire a round of several sharp-looking purple bullets at Samus. These are very hard to dodge, but here are some strategies to try:

How To Beat Escue Phase 2:
Escue’s Phase 2 is radically different from its Phase 1. In Phase 2, Escue reverts to its X parasite form, which is a giant armored version of the Xs that Samus has been encountering across ZDR. Escue’s sole attack in Phase 2 is damaging Samus by simply running into her.
Phase 2 can be much more forgiving than Phase 1, but Escue still does plenty of damage. There’s nothing more ✤frustrating than hitting a Game Over during the “easier” phase, so here are some tips to survive Escue-X:
- Escue will release a number of smaller Xs throughout the battle – try to grab as many small Xs as you can, as often as possible, as this will keep your health up.
- Use Ice Missiles or Charge Beam Shots to damage Escue – regular attacks won’t work as well.
- Escue will be impervious to damage for several seconds after each Ice Missile or Charge Beam Shot that connects. While Escue is flashing it cannot be harmed. Save your ammo.
Once you have beaten Phase 2, you will be rewarded with the Storm Missile upgrade and the knowledge that you've taken down one of ZDR's tougher Bosses.
