Cataris Overview
There are 15 Missile upgrades in Cataris: one Missile+ Tank and 14 Missile Tanks.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 1
Samꦍus will n🌄eed the Morph Ball ability to get this upgrade. At the spot marked on the map, crawl through the Morph Ball tunnel and grab the Missile Tank.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 2
You w♏ill need to use Samus’ Morph Ball to navigate the tunnels, and time this to try to avoཧid the crawling enemies. This is a Missile+ Tank upgrade.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 3
This upgrade is located just to the left and below the elevator from Artaria. You may need the Gravity Suit upgrade as Cataris will be frozen the first time you encounter this upgrade. This upgrade is sitting out in the open behind a corrupted wall. Shoot the wall with a Charge Beam, then c❀rawl through the Morph Ball tunnel and grab this Missile Tank.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 4
This u🧔pgrade requires the Gravity Suit, as it’s located in lava. It also requires the Speed Booster ability. Start to the left of where the Missile Tank is marked on the map, under the lava. There will be a set of hidden breakable blocks on the left side of the floor of this area; shootꦛ them to break them.
Once you’ve cleared th💃is path, start as far left as possible on the ground, then run righ🦩t, charging up your Speed Booster.
Slide through thಞe small space, kꦬeeping your Speed Boost.
Keep running right, destroying the Spee💙d Booster b✨locks between Samus and the Missile Tank upgrade.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 5
This Missile Tank is easy to get once you have the Space Jump. Just jump up into tꦺhe area where it’s marked on the map and grab it.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 6
This Missile Tank is easiest to get once you’ve acquired the Gravity Suit upgrade and the Space Jump. Starting fro꧟m just to the right of the Missile Tank, attach to the blue wall and shoot the corrupted wall with Wave Beam to de🎀stroy it. Then Space Jump into the opened space to collect it (or just swim through the lava, if you have Gravity Suit).
Cataris Missile Upgrade 7
This upgrade requires the Gravity Suit to෴ obtain, as it is under lava. Go to where it’s marked on the map. At the end of a long Morph Ball tunnel, there will be a hidden breakable block. Use a Bomb to break it and expose the Missile Tank.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 8
You will need the Space Jump and Plasma Beam upgrades to collect this Missile Tank. Go to where it’s marked on the map. You will find three areas of corruption on the wall; shoot Samus’ Plasma Beam to destroy them, then jump up an🔯d to the right into the opened Morph Ball tunnel. The Missile Tank will be immediately in your path on 𝔍the next screen.
Cataris Missile Upgrade 9
This upgrade is located just above where you fight Experiment No. Z-57. Continue up from the boss fight area until you reach a closed thermal door. Just to the left and above and a series of hidden breakable blocks that can be destroyed with Screw Attack, reveཧaling a Missile Tank upgrade.
