With a release date of 2025, there is the small matter of which consoles the title will launch on. Nintendo does state in the description of the game's trailer on YouTube that it will be launching on the Nintendo Switch, though it does seem pretty likely it will come to the Switch successor as well, similar to how The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild launched on Wii U and then Nintendo Switch. That is just speculation, but it would be very strange to make a title as big as Metroid Prime 4 exclusive to old hardware.
