If there's one thing in any Metroid game that has the most impact on whether you'll survive to the end, it's the number of Energy Tanks you collect. There are always a few softballs, but finding every single one takes a bit of sleuthing. Some require puzzles, and some require backtracking, destroying objects, or 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:discovering secrets.

In 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Metroid Prime Remastered, there are 14 Energy Tanks in total. This is fewer than the usual 20, but still enough to make collecting them challenging. Here's the location of every Energy Tank in the game and how to get them, in order of appearance.

Chozo Ruins: Transport Access North

Samus sees the first energy tank after defeating the Hive Totem

Abilities needed: None (Miniboss Reward)

Immediately after defeating the Hive Totem to get the missile launcher, continue through the door into a small room with the first energy tank in the game, chi🍌lling over a pit of weeds.

Chozo Ruins: Furnace

Samus discovers the energy tank hidden in the Furnace.Abilities Needed: Morph Ball Bomb

First, you have to solve the energy core puzzle using bombs. Detonate bombs in each bomb slot near the three terminals in this area before time runs out.

Once all the platforms are in place, wipe out the shriekbats and continue through the upper door.

Samus rolls through the furnace to get the energy tank.

Roll into the ball tunnel to the right, then to the end of the tunnel floor, and bomb-jump up one level to reach a hole in the wall. It'll lead you to a small cavern with an energy tank floating in the middle.

Chozo Ruins: Main Plaza

Samus views the torturously out of reach Energy Tank in the Main Plaza.Abilities Needed: Any

This one will taunt you from the start, but there's nothing special to it. The middle door out of the Magmoor Caverns North elevator room will lead you through The Vault.

Continue through the next tunnel on the other side, and you'll open a door, walk right into the Energy Tank and fall out into the main plaza.

Magmoor Caverns: Transport Tunnel A

Metroid Prime Remastered Bomb Jump 3 split

Abilities Needed: Morph Ball, Bomb

This is the ball corridor in Magmoor, between the Monitoring Station and the main elevator to Phendrana. On the first metal box you see, time your bombs just right to reach the surface up above. Move further along and repeat the process, 🌌then do it a third time to reach the Energy Tank.

Drop the first bomb, then another just before the first goes off. Then at the top of the jump, drop your third. Do it right, and the second and third bombs will kick you into the air.

If you slide off the corner when𓃲 you try to rol🎉l onto the next level, you may be jumping the gun.

Try not to touch the walls and only lean left when you're at or near the top.

If you know immediately that your timing is off, roll away before the second bomb goes off so you don't fall through.

There are a couple of spots in this area to practice; use them to get your timing right.

Finally, if you're losing too much health from hitting the lava, remember that one elevator and two rooms away is the first Save Station in Phendrana.

Phendrana Drifts: Ruined Courtyard

Morph Ball Samus in the small room accessed by raising the water in the Ruined CourtyardAbilities Needed: Boost Ball, Bomb, Wave Beam

A support structure on either end of the Ruined Courtyard has a spinner. Each one also has a Spinner on it. Get into each one as a ball, and then boost in the spinner until it closes all the way.

A cutscene shows an overhead spout being uncovered. Go to the other side of the room and repeat this with the other spinner, and another spout will open.

Jump up the snowy columns to the middle-height platform with an active ball slot. If you can't reach the ball slot, ensure the one you're looking at is blue. The other side just has a hole with a yellow ring around it- that comes later.

Detonate a bomb in the ball slot, and water will pour in from the spouts above.

The smaller platforms will float. Use these to get across the room and into the ball tunnel on the other side.

It is timed, and flickerbats are circling the area that can hurt you or even knock you into the water.

Reach the ball tunnel and roll into it to find another Energy Tank.

Phendrana Drifts: Research Lab AetherAn Energy Tank floats in a tall glass capsule

Abilities Needed: Missile, Wave Beam

When you reach the bottom level of Research Lab Aether, One of the capsules built halfway into the wall contains an Energy Tank.

It's on the opposite side of the room from the mini-elevator, near the cluster of control panels. Hit it with a missile. Smash and grab.

Magmoor Caverns: Magmoor WorkstationThe Energy Tank hidden in the Magmoor Workstation seen through a barred window

Abilities Needed: Wave beam, Thermal Visor, Morph Ball

Samus viewing a machine in Magmoor Ruins after starting it.

There are three doors around this room's ground floor- one has an Energy Tank in it, but they're all locked, and there's lava flowing under them. There's a big, cylindrical machine as well. Scan that; it'll tell you it's not receiving any power, but there are three conduits in the room.

Switch on your thermal visor and find the three conduits - they're all next to the doors.

Once the machine is powered on, one of the doors will rise, and the lava in the tunnel connected to it will cool, meaning you can traverse it as a morph ball.

Jump into the octagonal opening that leads under the metal grate and dodge the triclops to get to the newly-cooled tunnel. Roll into the small room, stand up, and scan the screen on the far wall.

Another path to another door will cool. Leave this room as a ball and dodge the triclops again to get to the second path.

Get there, and you'll find another room with another screen. Scan that, and the path to the Energy Tank cools, giving you access to it.

Leave and roll out to the third and last pathway, under the security door, and hop onto th🌠e platform to grab the Energy Tank.

Chozo Ruins: Hall Of The Elders

The three ball slots in the Hall of Elders, each opened with a different beam.Abilities Needed: Ice Beam

Above the Chozo statue on the back wall are three morph ball slots protected by the same beam-specific shield as the doors&mda✨sh;one for the wave beam, one for the ice beam, and one 🦹for the plasma beam.

Use the ice beam on the white one in the middle, then detonate a bomb in it to activate it.

An ancient contraption flips on after Samus activates some mysterious Chozo technology.

The ancient morph ball contraption will rotate so that the outcome is different.

Get into the Chozo's hands and turn into a ball so he can bowl you through the tubes and send you into an underground chamber containing an Energy Tank.

Tallon Overworld: Reactor Access

First, if you can get the gravity suit first, you should; otherwise, you'll have to turn back after accessing the Energy Tank. Using the thermal visor and wave beam, find and power up the three conduits to power up the door.

One conduit is immediately left of the door; one is on the level below, and to the right of where the door is. If you're looking out from the door, the last one will be down and to the right on the far wall.

Samus powers on the reactor core door and it starts to open.

With those open, you can access a Save Station and another door needing power. Switch on the thermal visor. They're just above and to either side of the door.

The second door leaving the reactor core.

Open it, and straight ahead will be a large metal box with a circular metal grate, like a window. Blast it with a missile and grab the Energy Tank inside.

Tallon Overworld: Hydro Access Tunnel

Metroid Prime Remastered Bomb Jump Underwater

Abilities Needed: Bomb Ball, Gravity Suit

You'll go through another ball tunnel as you leave the crashed frigate. Notice how you jump and fall slower, because of the water. There's an Energy Tank up the first shaft, to the left.

Samus bomb-jumps for an energy tank, but differently.

At the bottom, bomb-jump. As you go up, drop another bomb a ball-length or so below the top of that jump. If you get the rhythm right, each successive bomb explodes and sends you higher right as you drift back into it.

Do that a few times, then lean to the left at the top to grab the Energy Tank.

Phazon Mines: Ventilation Shaft

The energy tank in the ventilation shaft after being freed.Abilities Needed: Power Bomb

Scan the large fan nearest the floor-level exit. When you scan, it'll say it needs power, but don't go looking for a conduit. Instead, drop a power bomb in the spot directly in front of the fan, and a ball corridor will open up.

Samus restores power to the ventilation shaft.

Roll through it and pop out the other end, and you'll find yourself behind the fan, facing a scannable control panel.

Scan it, and a cutscene will play; the fan turns on, the gas dissipates, and the gassy enemies crash through the ventilation grate on the other side, exposing another Energy Tank.

Chozo Ruins: Training Chamber

Morph Ball Samus below a floating Energy Tank just after accessing it.Abilities Needed: Boost Ball, Grapple Beam

The first time you reach this room, after defeating Chozo Ghosts, two morph ball slots will open up along the center of each side of the half-pipe. One opens up the slot under a Chozo beak statue - that's your exit, but don't leave yet.

Boost over to the opposite side of the half-pipe and detonate a bomb in the other slot. A magnetic rail appears, along with a piston that will take you up to it.

Roll onto the piston before time runs out and spider-crawl along the rail to reach a hideaway containing an Energy Tank.

Phendrana Drifts: Transport Access

Samus frees an energy tank from ice.Abilities Needed: Plasma Gun

This one has probably been taunting you for a while, as you'll pass it several times before you can break it out of the ice. Once you have the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:plasma beam, insta-thaw that ice with a hot blast of plasma and grab the Energy Tank.

Phazon Mines Level 3: Processing Center Access

Samus faces down the Omega Pirate.

Abilities Needed: Any (Boss Reward)

Immediately after defeating the Omega Pirate, a small elevator takes you up to the circular scaffolding above you. Past the red door at the end of the room on that level is an Energy Tank you may have seen if you tried to enter from Phazon Processing on the other side. Grab it and scan the console to complete the loop and reach the end of the Phazon Mines area.
