It’s official: Fable is coming to Xbox Series X.

It’s been basically a year of nonstop rumors and 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:speculation, but we’ve finally reached the end of the road. Fable has been confirmed for the Xbox Series X.

At the end of the Xbox Games presentation today, host Geoff Keighley said there was “one more thing” to show after roughly 45 minutes of gameplay and trailers from the likes of Halo Infinite and Psychonauts 2. Just as we thought we were done, Microsoft tosses out a reborn Fable for next-gen consoles ♒like it’s no🧸thing. Those fiends.

We didn’t learn a whole lot from the announcement trailer that we didn’t already know. The new Fable is 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:being made by Playground Games, the setting made it clear we’re heading back to a world of fairies, magic, and swords, and that our “tale has yet to be written.” Oh, and the game will be simply titled “Fable,” which makes me t💜hink that there’s definitely a full fr൩anchise reboot happening here.

Sadly, rumors of possible Fable engine gameplay being revealed during the stream were sadly mistaken, but at least we get to call Microsoft liar-liar pants on fire for that Twi𓂃tter fiasco a few weeks ago.

We don’t have any release window to report, so Fable might arrive with the Xbox Series X or it might arrive after the holidays. We’ll hopefully have more to report after Microsoft hoꦺsts their second games showcase later this year.
