Insomniac's 2018 smash hit, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Marvel's Spider-Manis getting a follow up later this year starring a fan-favorite character, Miles Morales. The trailer for Spider-Man: Miles Morales debuted during PlayStation's The Future of Gaming stream, which showed off the 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:PlayStation 5 and a slew of games that will be available for the console. But what is Miles going to bring to the Spider-Man franchise that will set hi🔯s story apart from the previous ♛game?

There's no doubt that traversal will still be a major gameplay factor. Miles, just like Peter, has New York City at his sticky fingertips, and the web swinging mechanics in the previous game were highly praised. But Miles could add some more of his own flair as he swings throughout the city. His aniಌmations will most certainly differ from Peter's, giving him different flips and tricks that show off his personality.

Two of Miles' staple a🉐bilities were also shown off in the trailer, the first of which being his shocking power, otherwise known as his 'venom strike.' In the comics,ཧ the venom strike could paralyze anyone with just one touch. This was achieved through directed energy conducted in Miles' gloves. While this power may be a bit too powerful for a video game, the prospect of giving Miles shock abilities will allow for new weapons and fighting mechanics not previously seen.

The second ability is Miles' invisibility, which will no doubt put a higher emphasis on stealth. 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man definitely gave the player ample opportunity to sneak around, silently taking down enemies in a variety of different ways, but its follow-up could feature even more tactical applications of this. With Miles' ability to camouflage against any background, there will most likely be more stealth missions and even 😼some that require you to follow somebody without being seen.

If anything, in addition to all the new abilities, it'll be refreshing to play as someone besides Peter Parker in a Spider-Man game. Don't get me wrong, I love the guy but I wasn't properly introduced to Miles Morales until the 2018 film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. He's such an inteꦐresting character and to see hiꦇm center stage in this upcoming game is a breath of fresh air. We'll see more of his personality and individual story. It'd also be wonderful if the game put more of an emphasis on music just like the film did since that was something that defined Miles. And while there's no confirmation on how much time has passed since the previous installment, it seems that Miles has gotten the hang of his new powers so we'll just have to wait and see what evils stand in his way.
