has smashed onto PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and it's getting some pretty good reviews. Well, the single-player portion is, anyway. The wisdom of making the superhero romp a live service game is being called into question, but the story is a hit for most. A particular highlight is Kamala Khan, whose wide-eyed view of superheroes is refreshing. Kamala's perspective takes us back to when we were kids and superheroes were an example to be bette🦩r. This hopeful outlook should be continued through the post-game by highlighting more young heroes. Heroes like Miles Morales.
Spoilers For Marvel's Avengers Follow
From the very first chapter of Marvel's Avengers, we're given the world through Kamala's eyes. The Avengers are still buff, tough, and armed for battle, but they also care. Cap actually reads every fanfic sent his way, which is the most wholesome thing I've ever seen the character do. Unfortunately, everyone's worldview takes a plunge after the Chimera Helicarrier explosion. It takes Kamala's boundless optimism, and herꦓ stepping up as her own hero, to save the day. But after the credits roඣll, it's business as usual.
As meaningful as Kamala's story is, the endgame is all about Destiny-style loot grinding. That means the action again centers around Cap and Hulk punching things. The game's future sorely needs more of that freꦿsh, youthful perspective to make the grind more palatable. That's why Miles Morales should be the DLC Spider-Man.
Miles famously takes the mantle of Spider-Man directly from Peter Parker, in many adaptations even having the older Spidey as a mentor. Yet Miles🍸' s✨tory arc often sees him make his own path as a right of passage. In the comics, he even joins Kamala in splitting off from the Avengers to form their own teen superhero team. These Champions aim to fight for a better tomorrow using "wisdom and hope" instead of always resorting to violence like the adults.
That's not to say that Peter Parker is an example of how power corrupts. The original Spidey was the original relatable teen superhero, something we still see in the Tom Holland portrayal. It's just that Kamala's story in Marvel's Avengers sets a precedent. She's the next generation, a hope for better heroes for tomorrow. Miles is the perfect follow-up to that as the second-generation Spidey with his own distinct style. It also wouldn't hurt to have at least 168ꦏ澳洲幸运5开奖网:one black hero on this very white 🍃team.
From what we know, every DLC character will be free and come with their own unique unlockables. The preview for for the first DLC hero, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Kate Bishop Hawkeye, also teases the idea of new story content with each hero release. Spider-Man has already been confirmed as a PS4-exclusive character. Considering that exclusivity, and the character's popularity, it's likely that Spidey will get a special story arc. It's also all-but-confirmed that it will be Peter Parker spinning the webs. But given Marvel's Avengers' th🎃emes of youthful optimism and coming into one's own, Miles Morales is the better choice.
