They started off by commenting on how these missions usually take a very long time to complete but by this time the player had almost completed the mission. The devs also pointed out that Stardog managed to progress by using only one character. Desperados is a real-time strategy series that started back in 2007 and is the spin-off title to Helldorado. The third edition uses stealth among its five playable characters to progress through the wild west by using unique weapons and abilities. The game can also be played in action mode that allows players to momentarily stop the game in ‘showdown mode’ in order to strategize. The story is set in the 1870’s and follows bounty ꩵhunter John Cooper as he plays a game of cat and mouse with bandit leadꦯer Frank who is behind the death of his father.
The German game developers have three similar stealth-based games in its catalog with its first notable game being The Last Tinker: City of Colours. The company released Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun two years later and the third being Desperados III this year.
