Mindseye went from a potential Cyberpunk 2077/GTA love letter to a complete disaster real fast earlier this week. Suspicions were already raised after developer Build A Rocket Boy didn't send out review copies before launch, and fans quickly discovered that the reason for that was b🉐ecause Mindseye is a gigantic mess, described 🐽as "unplayable" by some.
Just hours after launch, fans were sharing vid♏eos of floating cars, horribly mutated civilians, and irritating stuttering issues, which all culminated in an overall Steam user review rating of Mostly Negative. It's difficult to see any game this year having a worse launch than MindsEye, and now that the cat is out of the bag, the developer is seemingly in damage control mode.
MindsEye Is Seemingly Canceling Sponsored Streams Following "Disaster" Launch
Twitch streamer CohhCarnage was about to begin his sponsored MindsEye stream when the developer emailed him to cancel it —
, a popular streamer called CohhCarnage has claimed that his sponsored MindsEye stream that he was set to do earlier today was canceled at the l꧅ast minute by the game's developer. In fact, the c♉anleation was so last-minute that CohhCarnage was apparently loading up MindsEye and getting ready to play when he received the email.

MindsEye Looks Like A Fake Game You'd See Played In An Episode Of Breaking Bad
Build a Rocket Boy's debut project MindsEye is out in a matter of week🎶s and we know very little about it.
"I opened up MindsEye, and as it was loading, my manဣagement contacted me and said 'the sponsor does not want to do this right now, they would like to reschedule'", says CohhCarnage. "And I said 'oh, that's a first'. The sponsor decided not to do the sponsorship for🌌 now, and honestly, fully transparent and honest, it sounds like - for MindsEye - that was the right decision."
CohhC🥂arnage probably has a point too, as some sponsored streamers that have been playing MindsEye aren't exactly doing the best job of promoting the game. , who struggled to keep it together when✨ telling his fans where they could buy the game for themselves, , who is one of many streamers that have been unintentionally showcasing just how broken MindsEye actually is right now.
Despite the popular saying, n𝐆ot all publicity is good publicity, and Build A Rocket Boy is now probably working in overdrive to try and salvage both the game and its reputation. Efforts have already been made on the social media side, , but it could already be too late.
