Minecraft Dungeons gives every player a ranged weapon and a melee one and you'll♛ use both during your journey. Many players will favor one over the other, with a few using them more equ🏅ally. Regardless of which playstyle you use, be it tank, melee, ranged, or a mix of everything, enchanting can add extra power to every shot you fire.
Enchantment priorities ♔will be different depending on the build and playstyle you favor but that doesn't mean certain enchants should be excluded. We take a look at the most powerful enchantments for ranged weapons, taking into account versatility, strength, and usefulness, whatever your character's spec.
10 Punch
Especially useful fo♛r solo players, the Punch enchant will keep those mobs off your back. The effect begins at a 200%🎶 pushback increase and rises fast to 300% and then finally 400%.
This is a very strong effect and one which is useful to any ranged player who wants to keep away from the crowds. It's also a great choice for solo players who don't h𝓰ave the backup of a group.
9 Piercing
The Piercing enchant gives you more damage per arrow with a piercing effect. The bonus al🅺so stacks up quickly to become 100% effective.
At the lowest tier, every third arrow gains piercing. This is increased to every second and finally every arrow.𓆏 The reliability at the highest tier💦 makes this a solid choice for consistent extra damage, although enemy placement is critical for the best effects.
8 ♏ Unꦚchanting
As you venture into later levels many mobs have enchanted armor. The Unchanting enchant allows your projectiles to deal up to 100% in bon𒐪us damage to enchanted enemies. This is especially helpful on stronger enemies in the later game or at higher difficulty levels.
The extra damage is 50, 75, or 100%, based on the tier of enchantment. That makes it a solid way to deal൩ extra damage in later levels, regardless of the number and position of enemies.
7 ಌ🐬 Rapid Fire
The Rapid Fire enchant increases attack speed by 10, 15, or 25%. On a fast weap♉on, this will make the shots fired even quicker as wel🍸l as triggering any effects linked to the number of shots fired more often.
On slower weapo⛎ns, the damage is often higher and increasing attack speed will allow you to deal out that increa෴sed damage much faster. Therefore it's a versatile and worthwhile enchant for many types of player.
6 𒈔 Enigma Resonator
The Enigma Resonator enchant is a solid choice for anyone with a soul harvesting build. It offers you a chance𝕴 to triple your damage, bas🍸ed on the number of souls you have. For those with soul-collecting boosts, this could be very powerful indeed.
At t𓆉ier one, it has a 0-15% chance to tr𒅌igger. This is increased to 0-20% at tier two, and 0-25% at tier three.
5 Multishot
Multishot grants you a c🧸hance to fire five arrows at once and is a great way to enhance your AoE damage. It also has a good chan🐭ce to trigger, with the different tiers giving a 20, 30, and 40% chance of activation.
Multishot is a solid choice for any ranged weapon, boosting AoE, crowd damage, and helping yo🦩u dispatch gro🐷ups of mobs quicker.
4 Fuse Shot
Every few shots the Fuse shot enchant will detonate a charge that deals 100% dam𓆏age to all nearby𓂃 mobs. You can enchant your weapon so the shot triggers every 5th, 4th, or 3rd shot.
This enchant will allow faster weapons to deal increased AoE damage through the triggering effect. Every 3 shots is very frequent if yoꦦu have a high-speed crossbow. Ideally, Fuse Shot should be combined with arrow 𒅌generating enchants.
3 Radiance Shot ♒
The Radiance shot enchant has a 20% chance t💮o spawn a circular area around the player healing all allies within it. While the chance to trigger cannot be increased, t🦄he amount healed jumps to an unspecified "large amount" at the top level.
Healing enchants are rare for🅷 ranged weapons so if you want to boost y🦩our health, either as a solo player or ranged team player, keep an eye out for this one.
2 Power
A Power e💎nchanted bow is incredibly versatile across the board. ♚Since the effect just straight up increases damage there's no one situation that's better than others for it. The extra damage is useful to all playstyles and specs.
At the first tier, arrow damage is increased by 10%. This rises to 21%, fol💟lowed by 33%. If you have this enchant maxing it out as soon as possible is recommended.
1 Infinity
Just as in Minecraft, a bow enchanted with Infinity can be very powerful. It o🔥ffers a chance to replenish an arrow after shooting, meaning your supplies will last much longer. Since a ranged weapon is useless without ammo this is incredibly powerful.
The chance to trigger is 16, 32, ✅and 48%. This means that even the lowest level of enchanting is likely to keep your bow well-stocked, especially since arrows are🌼 gained in stacks of 25. You won't need any other arrow generating effects if you can get your hands on this one.
