It's not a requirement to enchant your gear, but it will definitely help you in the long run. Almost every enchantment will work to benefit you as you slay mobs or venture through the world. Once you get the hang of enchanting, it will come easily. Let's begin by looking at how to make an enchanting table.

Making an Enchanting Table

recipe for enchanting table

To enchant items, you will need an enchantment table, which can be crafted with🧸 th🐼e following materials.

Arrange these materials as shown in the im🎐age above to create your own crafting table. This enchanting table can be placed anywhere, and will not break when destroyed.

After placing the table, you can immediately begin to use it, but your enchantments won't be too powerful.

Next🎐, we are going to g🌸o over how to fully upgrade your enchantment table to get the best enchantments.

Upgrading Your Enchantment Table

The enchanting table will display three levels of enchantment to coose from. If y🐻our table has not been upgraded, these three options will have smaller numbers, which represent the level (or power) of an encha⛎ntment.

To increase the level of enchantment, you will need to upgrade your enchanting table with bookcases. To reach the maximum level of 30, you will need at least 15 bookcases around the enchanting table.

In the image above, you can see an enchanting table surrounded by 15 bo🍃okcases. This is a simple placement for bookshelves toও achieve the maximum enchanting level. You can add more bookshelves to build up the walls, but they will be purely for aesthetic value.

How To Enchant Items

The enchanting table is fairly simple to use. When you interact with the t൩able, the panel in the image above will appeꦉar.

On the lefthand side of the panel, there will be a slot for a tool. Next to the tool, you will see another slot. This is where you add lapis lazuli, a minabꦗle ore that can be found anywhere underground.

With your lapis lazuli and item placed, three enchantments will appear in the panel. Each enchantment requires a certain player level. If your enchanting table has 15 bookcases surrounding it, then you will be able to see the enchantment that requires you to be level 30. In the image above, 🎀you can see that the level 30 enchantment is Efficiency IV.

On the left of the enchantment, you will see another number, which signifies how many levels will be consumed. For example, if you choose the level 30 enchantment for Efficiency IV, you will lose three levels. So, if you had💧 exactly 30 levels while enchanting, it will go down to 27.

This number is also how much lapiz lazuli will be consumed. For the level 30 enchantment, you will need 3 pieces of lapiz lazuli. Fortunately, this material is abundant, and after a mining trip🙈 or two, you should have more than enough.

Which Enchantments Will Appear?

While you enchant items you may be wondering how the enchantments are chosen. As mentioned before, the enchantment power increases with bookshelves. For the enchantment itself, the game looks at every possible enchantment that can be applied and selects at random.

Once the enchantment has been chosen, it will remain at the table until༒ you use it. This means that leaving the table and returning will not refresh the available enchantments.

To avoid getting enchantments that you do not prefer, you can enchant books instead. Let's take a look at how to enchant books next.

Enchanting Books

Rather than crafting a tool or piece of armor only to receive an enchantment you don't want, try enchanting books instead! Enchanting a book works exactly the same as enchanting a tool.

This is a great way to cycle through enchantments until you find the one that you want. Once you have an enchanted book that you want to apply to an item, 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:head to an anvil. To craft an anvil, you will need the ♈fo𝓡llowing materials.

  • 3 Iron Blocks
  • 4 Iron Bars

Place the anvil and interact with it. Doing so will bring up a panel, where you can place an item and an enchanted book. Combining the two will place the enchantment on the item while destroying the book.

It's important to note that once you enchant a tool, you cannot enchant it at the table again. This means that if you want add🧜itional enchantments on the same item, you will need to use books at an anvil.
