Every night in 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft Legends, the piglins will invade one or more Villages. If they succeed, they'll steal the resources the Villagers there have gathered for you, and occupy the Village until you retake it. You can prevent this by traveling to the Village to fight off the attackers, ideally with the help of walls and towers you've built beforehand.

Defending a Village successfully takes plenty of preparation, but if you succeed then you'll get extra resources - including valuable Prismarine - as a reward from the Villagers. Read on to learn some expert defensive strategies!

Preparing Your Defense

Each morning, your map will show which settlements the piglins will attack at sundown, indicated by bright red brackets. Be sure to stop be each targeted Village and empty their chest in case the attack succeeds!

The piglins' objective is to destroy the Village Fountain. Fountains are large and durable, but a large swarm of piglins (or a few high-level ones) can quickly destroy them given the chance. At the end of the day, preserving the Fountain is the only thing that matters.

When the piglins attack Homesteads, their target is the Alliance Flame, which is smaller b🧜ut equally important.

Start by building towers around the Fountain. At minimum, an Arrow Tower at each corner should be able to pick off the odd piglin that makes it through. If you don't have time to build lots of walls, compensate by adding more towers. Surround the Fountain completely if you have to!

Next, build some walls with a gate in the direct vicinity of the Fountain. This is your last line of defense, so make sure there are no gaps. If you have the Diamond to spare, build a Skeleton Spawner next to the Fountain and summon a group of eight to twelve, leaving them there; their arcing fire will let them shoot over the walls and prevent enemies from getting too close.

Once the Fountain is wall🎃ed off, build an outer wall that encircles the entire Village, as described below.

Best Wall Design

Building your walls in a star shape has a lot of advantages. If the piglins attack the points of the star, they won't be able to bring their numbers to bear, and any wall sections that they destroy can be easily replaced. If they try to move closer to the center of the star, they'll be pelted with arrows from towers on both sides!

Unless you have a plan that requires more, try to avoid building more than one gate per layer of walls. Not only are gates the most fragile part of your defenses, but an errant Villager can accidentally hold them open for the invaders!

Placing Carpenter's Huts throughout the Village so that all of your walls, towers, and (of course) the Fountain are within range of at least one lets your buildings self-repair, saving you time and resources.

Upgrades like the Mason or Kaboomery are very expensive, but they significantly increase your odds of surviving an attack. Save them for when they'll do the most good, since you don't want them destroyed in a losing battle; that just wastes resources!

If you have extra time and resources, place Ice Traps between the points of your walls. Piglins that step on them will be frozen solid, making them easy pickings for your towers. If there are hills around the outskirts of the Village, place groups of towers on top of them fully encased in walls. Not only will these deal damage to app🧜roaching piglins, but the enemies will of🅘ten waste time attacking them!

Defending The Village

the hero gathers a large army to defend against a piglin attack in minecraft legends

When night falls, the piglins will attack their targeted Villages. In most cases, a Village that you aren't personally present to defend will fall, so you may have to pick which one to protect.

A timer starts as soon as the attack begins. Until the timer runs out, waves of enemies will attack from every direction. Look at the compass at the top of the screen for piglin banners - those indicate where the next wave(s) will come from.

Leave your Skeleton defenders near the Fountain, but bring the rest of your mobs - ideally a mix of Zombies, Plank Golems, Mossy Golems, and Grindstone Golems, plus Warriors if they've been unlocked - to patrol the outside of the walls. Attack any piglins that you see and rebuild any walls or towers that they destroy.

Watch out for bomb piglins - if they reach your walls they'll open a big hole for their allies to pour through!

If you aren't sure where you're needed, look at the Village itself; if you see walls or towers glowing from the repair effect of Carpenter Huts, that means they're taking damage and there are piglins that need to be dealt with. You can also watch for arrow volleys from your Skeleton guards - there will always be piglins in the direction they're firing!

What To Do If The Fountain Is Destroyed

the Beast, leader of the Horde of the Hunt in Minecraft Legends

If the piglins manage to destroy the Fountain despite your best efforts, don't panic. Get out of the combat zone and build a Spawner, then recall all your mobs that are still alive. Summon an army and counterattack immediately.

Once the Fountain goes down, the piglin waves will stop coming. If you defeat enough of the enemies in the Village, the rest will flee. Focus on the smallest piglins, since they're the easiest to defeat. Any towers that are still standing will also help whittle down the piglin numbers quickly!

Once the piglins are driven off, build a Carpenter Hut to repair the Fountain. When its health reaches three percent or higher, it will be restored, and the Village will return to business as usual. You won't get the reward for a successful defense, but the Villagers will be able to start gathering resources for you again right away.
