168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft Legends was released in April last year, and while it didn't blow anyone away, it was a neat little strategy game that complimented the Minecraft series fairly well by offering a different experience for longtime fans. However, it seems as though it may not have had the staying power that Mojang wanted it to have, as the studio has announced that the title won't be getting any more content updates after less than a year on store shelves.

This was announced on the official Minecraft website earlier today, stating that the game has been improved and tweaked enough thanks to feedback from players and that the studio will be taking "a step back from development." Mojang goes on to explain that no more new content will be added following the Snow vs Snouts update, and that the version of Minecraft Legends we have now is the one we're stuck with.

Mojang's announcement makes it seem like the step away from development was always going to be the case, but it's surprising that a Minecraft game of all things will no longer be supported with fresh content drops after less than a year in the hands of players. Then again, it may not be too surprising if you take a look at the game's player numbers on Steam.

At the time of writing, there are , with a similarly dismal 24-hour player peak of just 31, and the game's daily count has struggled to crack the 100 player mark ever since June, just two months after release. In fact, Minecraft Dungeons , a game that launched a little over three and a half years ago.

Obviously, with Minecraft Legends being an Xbox title and available on Game Pass, we don't have the full picture of the game's player count, but the Steam numbers don't exactly paint a pretty picture. We can probably assume that other platforms have player counts just as disappointing, so it's no wonder that Mojang and developer Blackbird Interactive probably don't see it as a game that's worth supporting with regular updates.

Thankfully, vanilla 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft is just as healthy as ever, full to the brim with players making wonderfully terrifying creations. For example, one player recently spent ove✤r three years making the biggest and most complex maze that the game has ever seen, which they then uploaded for fellow players to try and tac♏kle.
