Minecraft Java Editio⛄n 1.16.20 , introducing the newest hostile mob to the game: the Piglin Brute. This axe-wielding mob is native to bastion remnants in the Nether and is one of the more daunting mobs you will face.
Originally introduced in snapchat back in June, Piglin Brutes made their official debut yesterday in update 1.16.20. They were initially intended to be released with the 1.16 release, but had to be pushed back as development for the mob didn't begin until too close to the 1.16 release date. Now that they have joined the fray, you're going to have to be extra stocked in your inventory as you venture into the Nether, as these guys don't mess around. They are not to be confused with Piglins. These guys aren't 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:looking to barter. Here's everything y🌱ou need to know about the Piglin Brute.
Where To Find Them
Piglin Brutes can only be found in bastion r𝕴emnants, large black castle-like structures located in the Nether, found in all biomes🏅 except basalt deltas. Piglin Brutes will only appear upon generation, meaning once you've cleared a remnant of the them, you can then tread without worry as no more will spawn. You'll know them when you see them. They stand at two blocks high, wield golden axes, and wear large golden belt buckles and arm guards.
Strength And Behavior
You may have gotten accustomed to wearing golden armor to the Nether by now, as it distracts Piglins and prevents them from attacking you. Unfortunately, Piglin Brutes will see right through your distractions, and will be hostile towards you no matter what. Similarly, they will not retreat from soul fire items like regular Piglins would. If one sees you – fight or flight are your only options. On hard difficulty, Piglin Brutes will deal 9.5 hearts of damage to you on a single blow if you aren't armored up. That's nearly quadruple the damage dealt by a hit from a zombie, and practically the entirety of your health. They will deal 6 hearts of damage on normal and 3.5 on easy, so they aren't a mob to take lightly on any difficulty. Unlike standard Piglins, Piglin Brutes will never spawn with additional armor or weapons𝓀, though it is possible for their axe to be enchanted.
Abilities And Drops
Piglin Brutes are able to detect you through walls if you open a chest or break gold-type blocks, so stay quiet and 🥂always make sure the area is clear beforehand. On top of this, they can open wooden doors, so make sure your Nether base is secured with iron. You don't want to be caught organizing your storage. The only drops you can expect to see are golden axes, with each Piglin Brute having a 15.5% chance of dropping their weapon for you, so there's really no benefit in saving them for when you have a sword enchanted with Looting.
How To Deal With Them
Unlike the majority of Nether mobs, Piglin Brutes are actually vulnerable to fire and lava damage. Make sure to always carry around some lava to drop at theirﷺ feet, and a sword enchanted with Knockback I or II to force them to keep their distance if you're overwhelmed by a group. Piglin Brutes have 25 hearts of health, so to deal with them safely – pillar up three to four blocks into the air (if the ceiling is high enough) after you've gotten their attention. From up here, you can place lava on the ground level as the🐟y gather around your pillar. You can also knock them around with your versatile weapons, without any fear of getting killed yourself. Just watch out for Skeletons or Ghasts who may try to shoot you down while you're distracted.
