168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft players are absolutely gagging for more sources of light, but Mojang seems to have left them wanting. They all got some renewed hope when the Torchlight plant was added, but surprisingly, unlike its name suggests, it doesn't even emit a faint glow. The people have taken to Reddit to voice their frustration, confusion, and ideas of what they'd do with the plant if it did wor🔴k as they'd hoped🅠.
"Please 🔯make them glow Mojang, they'd make a great alternative to torches," pleads OP NinjaGamer1337. Right now, if you're playing vanilla Minecraft, you've only got torches, glowstone, and some lanterns. It may seem like there's already plenty on offer, but it's all man-made stuff or cubic, so people wanting a more naturalistic or woodland fairy-themed base are out of luck. Torchlight plants that glow would fix that issue. Considering the new Cherry Blossom biome looks like a magical fairy land, 💝it seems like an awful oversight these flowers don't light up.
Eightbit_Timer noted that, "these would be so good for spawnproofing your base". Hostile mobs don't spawn anywhere with a light level of eight or above,ꩲ so keeping your home well-lit is essential to keeping creepers out. Instead of having torches littering the floor, which is rather unsightly, you could line pathways with pretty flowers and have them doted about the more open parts of your homestead.
Wise_Lingonberry_453 added, "Also torchflowers would be great in an underground farm." It would certainly add character and immersion to a lot of different types of bases and buildings, although glowstone would also work well in underground settings as it is qui꧅te literally a rock.
Apparently, these flowers are very tricky to get ahold of, with TheRedCelt writing, "Honestly, making them glow would be the only reason I’d ever try to get them." Dray_Gunn added, "why call it a torch flowe𓆉r if it doesnt behave like a torch? Might just be that they havent fully implemented the torch flower yet." This seems like wishful thinking though, as it's unlikely Mojang would add the flower without adding its main intended function.
The OP did of the kind of light they were referring to, and it does add a pleasant ambience to the area without producing smoke like a torch and campfire or looking ugly and overly large. To create the e🍸ffect, "I put a torch, placed leaves above it and then put a Torchflower in a pot I was just trying to demonstrate how the flower would look if it gave off light."
Another imm🌄ersive way this feature could be implemented is if Mojang "Make them attract fire flies," as suggested by Fu🔥tureStunning2042. That way, the flower itself wouldn't have to glow but it could interact naturally with the wider world around it.
