It's that time of the year again for 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft fans, the time that Mojang pits the fanbase against each other to vote for one of three new mobs that will be added to the game in the near future. This year, fans are being asked to choose between armadillos, penguins, or crabs, with each one placed in a different biome along with a useful ability or item drop. However, it seems like Minecraft fans are begin🐻ning to get sick of the whole concept entirely.

A very popular post on the Minecraft subreddit has been attracting attention recently, which involves user half_eaten_pretzel complaining about why fans of the title have to vote for the mobs in the first place, disappointed that Mojang isn't just adding all three. It's an understandable complaint, especially since the mobs that lose the vote are thrown into a vault never to be seen again, and it's becomingly an increasingly common view amongst Minecraft fans, with the post racking up 6.5k upvotes at the time of writing.

Carry on scrolling and you'll find hundreds of fans disappointed they're being made to choose between what would have been three quite exciting additions to the game, if two of them weren't disappearing forever. User AchtungToaster says that they're "getting tired" of mob votes altogther and would rather have Mojang focus on new features instead, while user Futuf1 is fed up of having to vote for which two mobs they want to sacrifice, and that Mojang putting this kind of choice to its fans "just shouldn't even be a thing".

While this general sentiment has been shared by a few fans over the past few years, it's only really this vote that's seen a more large scale pushback. That's primarily down to the mobs that are included this time around, as each is a rather adorable real-life animal instead of an entirely new creature made up by Mojang.

There's also the fact that the Armadillo mob also drops a material that will allow players to craft dog armor, something that has been requested by the community for a long time. While fans are technically getting what they want, a lot of them aren't too keen of having to vote for it, whilst simultaneously putting two other popular mobs to the sword to get it.

Unless the Minecraft community kicks up an almighty stink about mob votes on a mass scale, we're unlikely to see them stop any time soon. A lot of fans seem to just want Mojang to add mobs in regular updates rather than have people fight over them, and as these votes will undoubtedly continue to pour more fuel on the fire, some think that the whole process is "just not worth it".
