168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Minecraft is one of the world's most popular games, and for good reason. The block-placing sandbox gives players an unparalleled amount of freedom in exploring, shaping, and conquering their worlds. For those playing in survival mode, however, not everything is so calm and peaceful. The dimensions of Minecraft are packed with creatures (called mobs) and many of them are extremely powerful, posing serious threats to players.
Some of Minecraft's enemy mobs are a relatively trivial challenge; things like Zombies and Spiders are typically dispatched with ease. Others, though, can be severely dangerous, dealing massive damage and being incredibly difficult to deal with. Here are Minecraft's deadliest enemies to be wary of in your survival worlds.
Updated June 5, 2022 by Matthew Pentleton: Thanks to a copious amount of updates with meaningful additions, Minecraft players can contend with even more dangerous mobs in their worlds. These enemies are even tougher to handle in groups than they are alone. We've added some of these new opponents for your perusal here.
15 Endermen - Don't Make Eye Contact!
As their name suggests, Endermen have a connection to Minecraft's final dimension, the End. This dimension serves as the game's ultimate challenge, with the central island acting a boss arena for players to take on the Ender Dragon. It's only fitting, then, that anything relating to the End is similarly powerful.
Endermen live up to this, having a lot of health and hitting hard. To top it off, they can teleport, making them difficult to hit and allowing them to sneak up on you. Fortunately, they're neutral until you attack them, or make eye contact with them, so steer clear and you should be fine.
14 Shulkers - It's A Long Way Down
Shulkers inhabit the towering End Cities that can be found in the dimension's outer islands. Like Endermen, they can teleport, and their main attack is a slow-flying homing projectile that hits for a lot of damage.
That's not all it does, however. Once the projectile hits you, you'll be inflicted with 20 seconds of levitation, during which time you'll float upwards and be knocked around by more projectiles. And if those projectiles don't kill you, the fall hundreds of blocks down from the top of the city certainly will...
13 Wither Skeletons - Like Poison But Worse 🤡
Every time a Wither Skeleton hits you, you'll be inflicted with the Wither effect, which drains your health over time until you die. It also turns your health bar black, making it incredibly difficult to see 𒐪how much health you ac🐬tually have.
If you want a beacon, though, you'll need to kill hundreds of these annoying creatures, as three of their skulls, which have incredibly rare drop rates, are required. Just try very hard not to get hit, as you'll take a whole lot of damage if you do.
12 Zoglins - Unstoppable Killing Machines ꧒
If, for whatever reason, you bring a Hoglin to the Overworld, it'll transform into a Zoglin - a zombified Hoglin. These angry monsters attack pretty much any living thing they lay eyes upon, and they're a force to be reckoned with.
Being as tanky and powerful as Hoglins, they can absorb and deal a lot of damage, and their aggression means that more or less any mob unfortunate enough to cross paths with these undead swines won't stand much of a chance.
11 🃏 Blazes - Nether-Dwelling Fireball Snipers 🌃
Traveling to the Nether is a terrifying mission under any circumstances, but 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:going in search of a Nether Fortress is one of the scariest undertakings in the game. These imposing structures are inhabited by numerous threatening mobs, but worst of all is the Blaze.
While its attacks aren't the highest damaging, they have one of the furthest ranges in all of Minecraft, meaning they can set a player on fire — or worse, knock them into lava — while being too far away to fight back. A shield makes a good counter, but there's no denying these floating fireballs are seriously scary.
10 🍒 𝓡 Vindicators - Axe-Wielding Monsters
All the different types of Illager in Minecraft are deadly in their own ways, but none quite match the Vindicator in terms of raw strength. Found 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:in Woodland Mansions or Raids, these powerhouses use their axes to deal massive damage, tearing through players and Villagers alike.
One interesting easter egg is that by using a name tag to call a Vindicator Johnny, it won't just attack players and Villagers — it will attack everything. While this Shining reference may not be particularly useful, it's an excellent demonstration of the Vindicator's sheer power.
9 Zombified Piglins - Passive But De🦩adly Pack Hunters 🎶
Another Nether native, Zombified Piglins aren't actually aggressive towards the player by default. Hitting one of them, however, turns them into one of the most lethal enemies in the game. Once angered, they'll swarm the player like a pack of Wolves, moving incredibly fast and hitting with great s🧔t🦋rength.
While the obvious solution is simply to not engage them in the first place, killing a Zombified Piglin nets you valuable gold, and hitting one by accident is a posܫsibility. Fighting a horde of these beasts is a daunting prospect, so always be ready if a showdown ൲is on the cards.
8 Piglin ꦆBrutes - Hard-Hitting Tanks Guarding Precious Loot
Rounding out the trio of predators found in the Nether, Piglin Brutes reside in Bastion Remnants, guarding the copious treasures found within. Like Vindicators, the appropriately-named Brutes wield axes as their weapon of choice, using them to deal great amounts of damage.
The other thing that makes Piglin Brutes such a threat is their large amount of health. They can soak up a lot of hits from players before going down, giving them plenty of time to land blows. Running into theseཧ savages in a Bastion is nothing to take lightly, so come prepared and try using a bow to eliminate them from afar.
7 🃏 Ravagers - Immovab🍎le Objects Accompanying High-Tier Raids
168澳洲幸运5开奖网:As a Raid progresses, more and more Illagers will spawn, and in the later rounds, some of those Illagers might be riding Ravagers. The evil equivalent to an Iron Golem, these mounts have an absurd amount of health points; they're able to absorb massive amounts of damage from the player before dying.
On top of their gargantuan amounts of health, Ravagers can destroy certain blocks and trample crops, ravaging Villages as their name would suggest. Add this to the fact it's easy to become overwhelmed by the number of foes that come with a Raid, and it's clear to see why Ravagers are such a threat.
6 Evokers - Powerﷺful Magic-Users With Multiple 👍Attacks
The most devastating of the Illagers, Evokers possess magical powers, allowing them to hurt players in multiple ways. Their first attack summons snapping jaws from the ground, causing harm across a large area and proving tricky to escape. The real ace up an Evoker's sleeve, however, is its ability to summon Vexes - hard-to-hit flying mobs that have the abili🦋ty to phase through walls.
The closest thing Evokers have to a weakness is being hit quickly from a distance, but even then it's tricky to do so before they send swarms of Vexes your way.
