There are several different types of tools and weapons, but durability is similar among each of them.

Tools and weapons are split into two categories; block-breaking and not block-breaking. Tools inꦯ the block-breaking category will lose durability when breaking a block, so if you dig for dirt with a sword, it will decrease its durability.

In general, if you use a tool for something that isn't its intended purpose, then you will lose no durability. For example, if you use a fishing rod to hit a mob, no durability will be lost. Similarly, if you use any tool to break a block that would otherwise break instantly (like flowers or weeds), you won't lose any durability.

Armor Durability

Armor durability is more simple than tool durability. For every four hearts of damage that you take, your armor durability will go down by one. For example, if a mob attacks you and deals eight hea𝓡rts worth of damage, you✨ will lose two durability.

Durability And Enchantments

enchanting table opened to player

Tool durability can be altered with the Unbreaking enchantment. This enchantment will give tools and armor a chance to not lose any durability in a situation where it normally would.

Durability with the Unbreaking enchantment is a bit complex and follows an equation, but on average, base Unbreaking will let items last twice as long, Unbreaking II enchanted items will last three times as long, and Unbreaking III will let tools and armor last four times as long.

Try to get 168澳洲幸运5开奖网:Netherite tools and armor enchanted with Unbreaking III; you will feel invincible.
