Discovering an Ancient City in Minec🐬raft isn't easy, so we're here to help you navigate the Deep Dark and find this r🌳are structure.
Instead of facing them blind, this guide will provide you🧔 with where you will encounter them, exactly what each one does, and our personally discovered tips. Are you ready to delve into the copper-lined unknown?
Where To Find The Breeze And Bogged
Both the Breeze and Bogged can be found in the new Trial Chambers. Breeze spawners will be found on top of pillars, often made with chiseled tuff. These pillars will be in large, open rooms with dispensers lining the walls.
Bogged spawners can be found in Trial Chambers along with any other enemy, however, they will also spawn at night in any swamp biome.
How To Defeat The Breeze And Bogged
The Breeze
The Breeze can be fairly challenging and have a decent 30 hearts, but luckily their trial spawners will only spawn one at a time. Their primary attack is shooting powerful gusts of air at you. These don't do any damage by themselves, but can launch you into the air and cause fall damage.
Additionally, these gusts will activate any of the nearby dispensers if hit, which can contain various damaging arrows—including poison, slow, and harming—and will leave that effect on the ground for a short time. Finally, the Breeze will occasionally bounce around the room, often over your head.
When fighting a Breeze, it's best to keep your shield up until you're ready to strike, as this will negate its gusts. Pushing it the nearby staircases will be helpful, as the Breeze won't be able to create as much distance and, if you are hit by a gust, a low ceiling will prevent too much damage. Finally, and most importantly, do not use arrows, as they simply bounce off the Breeze.
Once killed, a Breeze will have a chance to drop Breeze Rods. These can be used to make Wind Charges, giving you the same gust ability whenever used, or be used to craft the Mace with the Heavy Core.
The Bogged
The Bogged are much simpler, with only 16 hearts, and they act the same as a Skeleton. However, the Bogged shoot poison arrows🥂 instead, which can quickly be a problem when you are surrounded by enemies.
The best advice when fighting a Bogged is to use your shield to deflect any arrows and be prepared to either drink a bucket of milk to get rid of the poison effect, or burrow until it is over and play it safe.
When defeated, a Bogged can drop Arrows of Poison, bones, regular arrows, or its bow.
