The University of Missouri’s esports team, Mizzou Esp🎶orts, j🌳ust got a big boost courtesy of hardware giant MSI. The company best known for its high quality parts and computers have jumped on board as an official sponsor ahead of the 2019 season.

MSI is pulling out all the stops to support the prodigiou🔯s college team by providing a new training facility to go along with the usual sponsor donated duds and equipment. Last year, Mizzou Esports highlighted their season with wins in Rocket League and was invited to the 2019 Overwatch Varsity Invitational.

Along with defending their Rocket League title, the team is looking ahead to stern competition for League of Legends and Overwatch.

Sam Chen, VP of Marketing for MSI, said of the partnership that “We are committed to the growth and♓ development o🐽f gaming athletes and our goal is to offer the best tools for them to succeed.”

William Stꩵackman of MU commented that the partnership would only allow the team to climb higher, saying “Our students will benefit greatly from a partnership with an organization that cares so much about the future of collegiate esports.”

The state-of-the-art facility is a big step in the development of college campuses as epic♛enters for amateur gaming. As MSI jumps on board with MU,♋ it will only be a matter of time before esports becomes just as much of a driving factor of revenue for colleges as traditional sports. If nothing else, they’ll be sure to have the best equipment money can buy.
