Since 2018, Nola ha𒆙s underperformed, posting an above 3.00 ERA in each year.
Fortunately, Nola is only 27, and that makes him an intriguing pitcher. With an overall of 92 and an A potenti🍎al, there's still plenty of time for Nola to straighten things out. He has a good array of pitches with a 4-seam fastball, sinker, slider, curvebal﷽l, and changeup, so it's safe to say Nola has a pitch for any given scenario.
8 Trevor Bauer, Dod♔gers: 93
Trevor Bauer's had one interesting MLB career. He debuted for the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2012, then Arizona shipped Bauer o🎉ut to Cleveland. Bauer spent the next seven seasons in ꦉCleveland before getting traded to the Cincinnati Reds. Although Bauer made the All-Star team in 2018, the best season of his career was 2020. In 2020, Bauer posted a 1.73 ERA, had two complete-game shutouts, and won the National League Cy Young award. Now, here's the tricky part. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 season was shortened to only 60 games instead of 162. Was Bauer's 2020 season a sample size of his production moving forward or an outlier?
By utilizing his cutter, slider, and knuckle-curve Bauer can keep hitters guessing. Although Bauer's control (60) is a bit low for his five-pitch arsenalཧ, the now-Dodgers pitcher has a 99 in his breaking ball category. Bauer might be coming off a Cy Young season and has seemingly proven to be a top of the rotation guy, but there's a reason why "one-hit wonder" is a well-known phrase.

Liam Hendriks debuted with the Minnesota Twins in 2011 before being traded to Toronto in 2014. Hendriks spent an🐲other season with the Blue Jays and then played fo🤪r the Oakland A's for four seasons, and now is a member of the White Sox. What makes Hendriks unique is that he's not a starting pitcher, but a closer.
Sticking with a standard four-pitch selection, Hendr🗹iks excels most at limiting base hits and striking batters out. His last two seasons were his first as a full-time closer, and he recorded 25 saves in 2019 and 14 saves in 2020. Hendriks kept his 🏅ERA down in those seasons also, posting a 1.80 in 2019 and 1.78 in 2020.
6 ℱ Chris Sale, Red Sox: 93
For nearly a decade, Chris Sale has been one of baseball's most dominant pitchers. In his first season as a starter, Sale won 17 games, the most in a sea෴son for his career. From 2012 to 2019, Sale was selected to the All-Star team and among the top six in Cy Young voting. Sale was so dominant from 2015-2018, he even appeared on the MVP ballot. However, in 2019, Sale had a year to forget, recording single-digit wins for the first time 💞in ten years. His 4.40 ERA was also a career-high.

It seems Scherzer is rated high based on name recognition and past accolades, so tread carefully.
4 ♕Gerrit Cole, Yankees: 94
When Gerrit Cole arrived in Houston, he was on the precipice of stardom. For his two seasons with the Astros and then his first with the New York Yankees, he posted a sub-3.00 ERA each year. Cole's breakout season was in 2019 when he won 20 games and finished second in the Cy Young vo🐼ting.
Cole excels at collecting strikeouts, limiting base hits, and throwing heaters.
